The 1st sighting of the rare bigfin squid (Magnapinna) in the Tonga Trench (Southern Pacific Ocean), filmed by researchers from Deep Sea Research Centre KelpieGeo Inkfish at 3,300 meters in Sept 2024. There have been so few sightings, little is known about these alien-like squids.
