Timelapse #177 (14 hrs) - Picked up an RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell and wired in another 1000W PSU - running two of them now - DeepSeek v4 Flash running locally on both GPUs - Distilling DeepSeek v4 Flash down into Nanbeige (still cooking) - Kernel bench runs for DeepSeek v4 Flash and Qwen 3.8 Max - Got it into chat but couldn't reliably get it into the OMP harness yet - Private contract work - days like this are stuff I actually want to build. and when it's the high-intensity grind, i still have to show up and get it done

A really insane thing happened to me while I was streaming on Twitch last night. I had over 130 viewers at the time, and suddenly it dropped to 10. I did a test as shown below to tell viewers to type 1 in the chat, and there was WAY more than 10 people there. The WEIRD part about this is that usually the viewer count goes back up once people type, but it STAYED at 10 viewers for OVER AN HOUR. Eventually as time went on it dropped to 3 viewers, and eventually to 1 viewer. I raided out with 1 viewer, but the persons viewer count went up by over 100. It was not a visual bug though, my Twitch Tracker showed that I drastically fell to 10 to 3 to 1 viewer. I've seen lurkers not counted before, but now actual viewers were not being counted even after interacting. I did this test MULTIPLE TIMES, one while I was recording my stats and the other test was done before that with the chat being shown on screen. I am so confused and I can only hope this is a temporary problem.

Most C Programmers don't have a clue as to how the CPU works. Here is a lecture from my course on the C Language that introduces how to visualise the CPU as a C (or general software) Programmer.... More Details are at: Being able to model the behaviour of CPU provides a solid base to reason about your code. The summary is - - The CPU is a state machine which maintains it's states in registers. - It has busses to memory for requesting data/instruction read/writes. - Interrupts to attend to events. I discuss this and more in my course on the C Language.

I think we’ll see the full creative vision of GTA 6 once the PC/PS6/Xbox Helix version comes out. As stunning as Grand Theft Auto VI currently looks, its hard to believe that the game will cut some corners to optimize for the current gen hardware. But looking back at Grand Theft Auto V releasing at the end of a console lifecycle then getting the next-gen version was a night and day difference; it showed how much corners Rockstar Games had to cut in order to optimize this game and run well for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. I believe it is the same situation with the current gen consoles, the GPUs may be powerful, especially on the PS5 Pro; there are going to be some CPU limitations with the Zen 2 architecture.

CPUs are 1,000 times faster than GPUs." Not a podcast. A talk given inside the firm that trades billions a day, to a room of engineers who already train models. The whole industry sells you the GPU as the fast thing. On a single operation it is a thousand times slower than the CPU sitting in your laptop. The GPU was never fast. It was wide. If your training loop feeds it one thing at a time, you are paying rack prices for the slowest chip in the building.

I learned how to use the GPU Profiler, and I was able to optimize the game enough that even I can play it at 100% resolution and around 60fps now! And that's with the screen recorder going too. Turns out there was a render target eating up about 20fps this whole time!

mingyu teaching the members how to drive and even going with them to get their license 👤 who did you teach? 🐶 hoshi hyung, woozi hyung… 🍒 dino! 🐶 i think i even went with them for their written test? as you know, you get your license at the testing place. and from my experience of it the first time, you take the written test then the driving course test. but within that time, it’s too late when you get a ticket for the driving course test right after coming out from the written test. so i thought about it, “the members are going to take it tomorrow, but the timing won’t be too bad if someone gets the ticket for them in the middle of their test. so they can probably do the driving course test as soon as they come out from the written test”… i’m not sure why i did but i went to the testing place with them 🍒 he said he’d do it for them! 🐶 i did, i told them i’d do it so that they can do their driving course test on the same day too. so after they went to take the written test, it was about an hour long, i got the ticket about 40 minutes in. once they got out, i gave both of them their tickets and said they could take the driving course test right away and they were able to 👤 how reliable! 🐶 why was i like that then... but woozi hyung still doesn't have his driver's license! he only took up to the driving course test 👤 really? but if you fail once then you just think “i’ll do it next time!” and it ends up getting pushed back 🐶 its so funny, why did i do that? what did i do for an hour just sitting there?! and it’s meaningless if they failed! 🍒 mingyu has a lot of those sides to him~

The control systems are yet to arrive, soon we will control the test bed remotely 😅. This was not even full power, imagine I activated the afterburner, this thing might do up to 200+ km per hour o👀👀👀. We need a runway for a full power test🤧. I will be applying to the government of Ebonyi State for permission to use a runway at the state airport for full power tests on the project, it has grown beyond my compound 🙏🏻. matthew's thoughts about zb1's last concert as 9... 🦊 how was it during makcon (encore con d3)? it was fascinating really... i... on the 2nd day it felt like everything hit me at once, like "wah... this is really the last concert" so i was really sad on the 2nd day and on the last day i was sad but it was kinda... i looked at this (view on stage/overall surroundings?) for the last time and just took in the beauty of it. i was so thankful and i think i kinda just looked at it prettily “one last time”
