KC MO doesnt pretreat with salt, like say MN, they also wait until a storm is over before addressing the roads. Budget issue. Was like this for the 9 years we lived there and we’re from MN, where winter roads are as good as summer roads

Someone slid off the Bond Bridge and into the Missouri River in KC not long ago

That was a few hours ago as it's dark outside now in KC but the ice ain't nothing to play around with. I'd rather have the snow. Sadly we're getting both so gonna make for dangerous travel through the area.
