Photorealistic Object Insertion with Diffusion-Guided Inverse Rendering discuss: The correct insertion of virtual objects in images of real-world scenes requires a deep understanding of the scene's lighting, geometry and materials, as well as the image formation process. While recent large-scale diffusion models have shown strong generative and inpainting capabilities, we find that current models do not sufficiently "understand" the scene shown in a single picture to generate consistent lighting effects (shadows, bright reflections, etc.) while preserving the identity and details of the composited object. We propose using a personalized large diffusion model as guidance to a physically based inverse rendering process. Our method recovers scene lighting and tone-mapping parameters, allowing the photorealistic composition of arbitrary virtual objects in single frames or videos of indoor or outdoor scenes. Our physically based pipeline further enables automatic materials and tone-mapping refinement.

3D Gaussian Splatting for Real-Time Radiance Field Rendering paper page: Radiance Field methods have recently revolutionized novel-view synthesis of scenes captured with multiple photos or videos. However, achieving high visual quality still requires neural networks that are costly to train and render, while recent faster methods inevitably trade off speed for quality. For unbounded and complete scenes (rather than isolated objects) and 1080p resolution rendering, no current method can achieve real-time display rates. We introduce three key elements that allow us to achieve state-of-the-art visual quality while maintaining competitive training times and importantly allow high-quality real-time (>= 30 fps) novel-view synthesis at 1080p resolution. First, starting from sparse points produced during camera calibration, we represent the scene with 3D Gaussians that preserve desirable properties of continuous volumetric radiance fields for scene optimization while avoiding unnecessary computation in empty space; Second, we perform interleaved optimization/density control of the 3D Gaussians, notably optimizing anisotropic covariance to achieve an accurate representation of the scene; Third, we develop a fast visibility-aware rendering algorithm that supports anisotropic splatting and both accelerates training and allows realtime rendering. We demonstrate state-of-the-art visual quality and real-time rendering on several established datasets.

The two videos taken from the stadium: 1. Is the man throwing water to Fleming 2. The supporters chanting the name of Pitso and the same gentleman who is in the vicinity of marked area for VIP is seen going to the Chairman to greet him and hug him. There is also a person seem to be part of a supporter coordinator who tried to silence peaceful supporters. They shouted louder..Pitso...Pitso...Pitso. The Chairman is seen making hands gesture, which appears to be responding to a supporter. It is not clear whether the Chairman is greeting the supporter or agrees to what he was saying. What is clear on these videos, Supporters are not happy with the current state of the club they love. No hooliganism should ever be promoted. However, when people are not to listen to and no response from the club to communicate with supporters, we are bound to experience these scenes. Somebody needs to intervene and engage supporters without using coordinators but to a decision maker.

Taking diamonds from fraudsters, this week we saw another video of his convey driving in the opposite site of the road to avoid traffic which could have caused a massive accident and innocent lives lost. A huge faction in the ANC currently is with Ramaphosa which means GNU with DA. Business has reached out to Ramaphosa to keep the GNU intact with the DA ,IFP and the other current GNU partners. Business is prepared to pump in BILLIONS to rebuild the country but not under RET aligned Mashatile. The Mashatile alliance with EFF and MK Party will destroy this country. Suddenly a faction has woken up in the ANC that is anti Ramaphosa and pro Mashatile and Jacob Zuma. The next few days are very critical. Fact check: viral video claiming bandit attack in makarfi, Kaduna is misleading Abuja, March 9 A viral video circulating on social media claiming that bandits are currently attacking Makarfi Local Government Area of Kaduna State has been found to be misleading and falsely represented, security checks have revealed. The video, which is being widely shared with captions suggesting an ongoing attack in Makarfi near Zaria, shows scenes of heavy gunfire accompanied by a voice-over describing troops repelling armed attackers. However, a careful review of the footage and audio has confirmed that the voice narration in the video was lifted from a previous military engagement involving troops of Operation Hadin Kai in the Timbuktu Triangle in Borno State, where soldiers were repelling an attack by fighters of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in January 2026. Recently, there has been concern over a growing trend in which individuals deliberately recycle old combat footage or unrelated security incidents to fabricate fresh attacks, particularly on social media platforms where such content spreads rapidly. Zagazola noted that the audio commentary does not correspond with any current security situation in Makarfi, and the material has been deliberately recycled and repackaged to create panic among residents. This is a classic case of disinformation where old operational clips are taken out of context and falsely presented as a fresh attack. Such deliberate manipulation of security-related content is dangerous, as it spreads fear, misleads the public, and can undermine ongoing security operations. The practice is reckless and irresponsible. Those who knowingly circulate such false claims are contributing to psychological warfare of the terrorists aimed at creating panic among civilians.
