T 5160 - The day of birth .. and another day in its knowing that the celebration at that time was different to the time now .. and the most revered gift that comes to me is from the City of Wroclaw , Poland .. The City of Wroclaw, Poland as you all may know gave me the Ambassador declaration of the City during my last visit there .. it is the City of Literature also and they have placed a molding of Babuji on their main Square .. it is also the City of Elfs and they honoured Babuji with this statue .. they have also named a Square-Street after Babuji, the Harivansh Rai Bachchan street square .. AND .. As a gift from the City they have sent me for this day a most loving generous and overwhelming gift .. Young musicians play the violin as a respect to Babuji 's Madhushala the tune in which he sang it .. at all the prominent locations of the City .. it is a most humbling and overwhelming gesture .. and words fail me in expressing my emotion at this point ..

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.

Some of these Pedicabs are known for scamming unsuspected tourists who visit NYC . A few dozen activists stood in Habima Square in central Tel Aviv and protested the war with Iran and the genocide in Gaza today. We were immediately threatened with violence and arrests by more than 50 policemen. A few were arrested and all signs were seized. We protested because even under threat of rockets from Iran and violence by Ben Gvir's forces, we know that if this madness doesn't stop now, it will only get worse for us, the Palestinians in the occupied territories and Gaza, the Iranian civilians and all of the region. This is not democracy! Condemn the suppression of peace activists by the Israeli state and condemn Netanyahu's continued aggression in the region.

In the spring of 2022, when russian troops were approaching Kyiv and cutting off all the evacuation routes, the only way to escape from Irpin and surrounding settlements was the railway. On March 5, 2022 when the train was heading for people from Kyiv to Irpin, russians fired at it. The track was destroyed by a missile and wagons were broken into pieces. Two wagons derailed. Fortunately, there were no passengers in it, no one from the team was injured. Since then, evacuation from Irpin became impossible. The railway bridge across the Irpin River was blown up. By that time, the train had rescued about 10,000 lives. I visited this piece of bravery today 💔 It is on display on Mykhailivska Square. P.S. Irpin was liberated on March 28, 2022.
