Twist the battery terminals a little

Move that start stop switch above the starting button back and forth. Have you tried holding the right brake? Maybe it does think you’re in neutral.

Hmm. Ok I’m still thinking. If the light comes on it has power…and if it doesn’t click it’s not a loose connection…

The green light is very slow coming on when I turn the key on. I feel like I did hear a click the first time I tried turning it back on after turning it off, but not since that first time.

Oh that’s good information! That sounds like a bad battery or a bad alternator. I’m sure Dad figured it out already…

@DabbleTim Faulty electrical signal is my Guess. One more thing is make sure the battery cables at the battery are tight and clean. If you find corrosion anywhere you can use Coca-Cola the the acid will eat away the corrosion

Loose battery cable connection or dead battery. Perhaps a loose connection at the starter.

Number one make sure the battery leads have come loose. I’m sure you have gas. You’re a smart lady. I hope dad gets there soon.

It’s so good to talk to you again. I’m just happy to talk to anybody. It’s been a rough couple of months. The boss won’t let me drive. With all these doctor visits, I don’t mind a chauffeur. Unless she’s on a work call while driving.

I know the neutral light comes on, but this seems like it doesn’t really believe you’re in neutral. Let me know what happens when you hold the right brake while trying to start.

Seems like a battery issue. Or have you checked the oil lately. Honda’s have a low oil shut off.
