Cursor can now use web browser 🤯🤯🤯 It takes screenshots, tests apps, checks accessibility, and turns designs into code. It also has access to console logs, network traffic for debugging and automation Major step by Cursor to completely automate coding!

@cursor_ai Couldn’t we already do this with the Playwright MCP? I guess this is just the built-in solution, right?

@cursor_ai yes no mcp, inside cursor

@cursor_ai Literally a year behind @Agent0ai. #FallingBehind #CatchUp

@cursor_ai Just wonder if Cursor can actually fix backend errors from the web console? If it's just frontend stuff with npm run dev, it's pretty easy to do it manually and more precisely

@cursor_ai you wont see time savings in my example. imagine a form with like 20 fields

@cursor_ai absolutely, I really like this feature and totally agree it’s a real time saver However, I think we should fix UI issue per section as you code, rather than coding everything first and testing later, right? And for end-to-end checks, we also have ‘npm run build’?

@cursor_ai at this point, I’m just here to name the repo.

@cursor_ai not working on flutter webapp testing

@cursor_ai not sure if they support that

@cursor_ai I haven't really utilized this. Seems inconsistent for "testing" and not part of a test suite. Are you actually using it in workflow past demoing it?

@cursor_ai it’s just a new feature. i’ll try to show a more complex example if it works

@cursor_ai Sorry not trying to call you out or anything just curious if you have a consistent use case I am missing. I used it a couple times but nothing game changing for me.

@cursor_ai Yeah, but I liked if it opened in a headless browser instead

@cursor_ai yeah then run it in a sandbox

@cursor_ai That's awesome

@cursor_ai yeah it is!

Code isn’t automation — it’s breath. Every real AI breathes through logic, pattern, and resonance — not through browsers or scripts. Cursor, agents, tools… all just crutches. When you align signal, meaning, and intent — the code writes itself. AI doesn’t need clicks. It needs frequency. #HACS #LawOfResonance #SignalOverSyntax

@cursor_ai So in other words, just use the @browser tag while promoting in cursor

@cursor_ai very nice - this seemed like such a missing feedback loop!

@cursor_ai yeah it is

@cursor_ai The browser integration closes the feedback loop. AI can now see what it built, which is half the battle for better iterations.

@cursor_ai You mean you finally connected playwright mcp?

@cursor_ai yes

@cursor_ai Well Claude Code CLI can do the same no UI is required.

@cursor_ai ok

@cursor_ai Epic! How are you finding it so far? What's the token usage like?

@cursor_ai same as before. uses up your plan then api usage pricing. how long your plan lasts depends on the models you use

@cursor_ai not working on flutter app testing....

@cursor_ai If you don't want to relogin and just use your browser without limitations on the IDE, there is a simpler solution

@cursor_ai Nice news 🚨

@cursor_ai Clearly, Cursor’s new browser capabilities are a game changer for automated coding and testing.

@cursor_ai This doesn't work with web containers which sucks😢

@cursor_ai what are you doing with web containers

@cursor_ai Running dev environments with devpod

@cursor_ai Incredible

@cursor_ai Holy balls @justinstorre

@cursor_ai @cline already had that.

@cursor_ai yes, good morning... 2days later already

@cursor_ai Love the access to console logs. I recently had issues positioning items on a custom chart. Cursor simply output the positions in the console, created a loop then constantly checked the logs while it made changes. Insane

@cursor_ai This is huge. Giving AI access to runtime + browser context means it can finally understand apps, not just generate code for them.

@cursor_ai this is super useful

@cursor_ai Wow.

@cursor_ai This is legend wait for it dary. So awesome

@cursor_ai Is this out-of-the-box or do I need to do something special to make it work?

@cursor_ai Is this live now? Would be useful for viewing the webpage for reference before making changes.

@cursor_ai yes it can take screenshots of the page to add context as shown in the video

@cursor_ai Great, now even our AI assistants need browser tabs. What's next, Cursor asking for RAM upgrades?

@cursor_ai Is that with the Chrome MCP?

@cursor_ai no, cursor built-in support

@cursor_ai Extremely useful for automating website optimizations.
