Point and edit is the death knell for Canva. cursor just replaced the pixel grid with natural language. the design tool was just a database of vectors waiting to be queried.

Used it for enterprise hifi designs. Really great 👍 Even Anthropic removed the weekly limits for claude design due to this.

I remember nonchalantly trying out open design for the first time on a project I was building last week using kimi-k2.6 model via BYOK mode. 30mins later, I had a full fledged design of all 18 screens of the project UI with 100% responsiveness I kept shouting wow! wow!! wow!!!

Point and comment workflow is exactly what was missing in AI-assisted design. Does it export design tokens for frontend consumption? The Figma → Cursor Design → code pipeline would be a game changer for small teams.
