Cursor is super impressive! Got this IO multiplayer battle arena running in the browser in just two days of prompting. Oh wait, my bad.. I meant 2+ years of coding with a functioning brain. #threejs #webgl #gamedev

stop being a pandering virtue-signaling idiot AI doesn't exclude effort, AI doesn't discourage effort. AI makes your efforts yield far more results. 2 years? Imagine how many more experiences you could've built into ur game for the players, with additional AI productivity.

I’m already using a lot of AI tools which improved dev speed by a lot. But just prompting and pressing tab as a monkey won’t get you far with projects like this.

New game dev marketing strategy: pretending your game was made with cursor when it's actually just skills

Yeah. In this case it's more like a sarcastic tweet after looking at my feed. But I'm pretty sure I saw at least a few tweets like you described.

It looks impressive, and you are right, nowadays that's impossible to archive with just vibe coding, but I'm sure in the future it will be, it will take effort to do too

The real problem I see in making this with prompting is not that AI will fail, but that telling what you actually want with human language is not so easy and sometimes harder than coding if you know how.
