@poteto full circle!!

@poteto feels so good to use in production

@poteto btw you can use if you aren't already, i bascially ported out all of the file source and component logic out of react grab into it's own pkg which react grab now consumes

That ain't design mode , That's "Finding out mistakes and Changing mode"

story of my life

Us Bro Us 🙂

hands down my fav feature in cursor

this is like

this feels illegal how fast it is

plays nicely with composer 2

thanks to @benjitaylor and @aidenybai for inspiring this feature. We are truly living in a different era

我做了个这个插件跟cursor打通

Nicely done.

This is huge for rapid prototyping. The ⌥+click to add elements directly to chat is the killer feature - lets you iterate on specific components without describing them in text. Game changer for UI work.

is anyone else just skipping figma entirely and seeing how far cursor takes them? asking as someone who never really learned design properly

this changes so much. being able to point and edit visually without jumping between tools constantly is exactly what was missing. the gap between design intent and code output just got way smaller 🙌

Missing the styles sidebar from this version. Sometimes I just want to directly update values vs chat with an agent. Any plans to add it back?

shift+cmd+D to enter visual editing in a code editor is a genuinely weird sentence to type in 2026. and it already feels like the only way to work on UI

@flowstated does this work for anything ur developing? i assume it works for web but what about swift/xcode?

anything in the browser for now, better native review flows inc

@NoahHirshon I’m using VS. ode now for pricing matters. I’m thinking about changing to cursor. Assume my cap is at 100 dollars monthly, is this enough for someone that does not writes code anymore and works on big apps?

@flowstated imo you're best off using claude code on the 100$ plan in the terminal

cursor quietly becoming a design tool too. the boundary between 'what it looks like' and 'how it works' keeps collapsing into a single interface

very cool

Cursor might’ve cooked with this release

Ok now this is something I would find very useful. Somewhat similar to Agentation by @benjitaylor , which is also awesome.

as someone who codes and designs badly, this might actually save me 💕

⌥+click to chat is the real unlock here. Every other tool makes you screenshot and explain. Curious how well it reads intent when you box something in though - 'fix this spacing' and 'rewrite this component' look identical from a selection.

figma designers watching cursor slowly absorb every part of their workflow like that meme of the guy nervously sweating first it was code. then it was deployment. now its design. next itll be making coffee and attending standups on your behalf the entire creative toolchain is getting absorbed into the IDE and honestly its beautiful

Design mode in a code editor. click to edit, drag to draw. the line between designer and developer just got erased. Cursor is quietly building the IDE that makes traditional coding skills optional

@OpenAIDevs and @antigravity your turn please.

Very cool

that's doooope!

Who is the ICP here? Lovable users?

Thats crazy

This is a very nice upgrade to the design mode!

Haven't seen a better implementation of ai than this

now i need this for game UI. spent way too many hours going "move that button 3px left" in code when i could just... drag it

Love it! Web dev workflow is about to get so much more efficient with this!

@AnatoleOis

Honestly the “lets” command seems kinda clunky.

Cool shortcuts but multi-agent > single agent… Blackbox AI kinda changed how I work

rad feature. Only took me about 45 minuets to figure out how to actually get in the right window to activate it lol
