SCAM ALERT‼️ if you’re in the g59 community and thought about buying from this business, don’t. so far the business owner: - hasn’t been fulfilling orders - is ignoring emails & dms from customers - claimed that g59 granny from tiktok died (for clout?? interactions?? idek) but she is indeed alive and well - threatened a customer saying he would “ruin their life” if they are “talking shit” about him (who knows if he has done this to anyone else) - BROUGHT UP THE FACT HE HAS THEIR PERSONAL INFO!!! “remember i have your personal info” is an insane and disgusting to say to a PAYING customer regardless of the situation please watch the video for further context and to see screenshots!!

Just watched a customer confront workers at this gas station for ripping off old expiration stickers and slapping on new ones to sell expired/rotten food to customers. Corn dogs with replaced tags, old breakfast sandwich junk looking nasty, and a fly literally inside the donut case. The employee gets told “I’m not asking — I’m telling you, this has to go in the garbage.” These places treat customers like idiots while pushing sketchy, potentially dangerous food. Stop buying hot food, corn dogs, sandwiches, or anything from gas station warmers and cases. It’s not worth the risk. If you see this — film it, call it out, report it. Who else has horror stories from these spots?

Great products come from deep intimacy with the customer. You have to be in the trenches - watching, feeling, experiencing the product the way customers do. I joke with my team that they should know our customer so well they know what gum they chew. Twice a year, we fly customers to our off-sites to spend a whole week with our team. That week, the customer stops being an abstraction and becomes a real person with real problems. We encourage them to roast us, to build alongside us in our hackathons and to debate our roadmap with us. Last month we were joined by a restaurant owner who has used Owner to grow his business from a single food truck to +30 locations and 9 figures in annual revenue. His success wasn't an accident. It's the result of our team spending thousands of hours in the trenches with restaurant owners like him. The best feeling in the world is watching something you built actually change someone's life.
