“when you charles leclerc go to bed, what do you think of?” 🆑: what i love most doing is racing. but i raced since i'm three and a half years old and i spent many of my nights thinking about racing and racing only but i'm also very creative. i think one of the things with me is that i love being creative but at the same time, i get obsessed with things very quickly and with new passions. one week it will be padel and the other week will be music and piano. every week i find a new thing that i'm super curious about, that i want to learn of and that i keep thinking about. and so sometimes it can be not really related to racing and it can be any new passions like padel or music. and sometimes it's racing. it's not necessarily always the same thing. but when a thought is too strong for you to fall asleep, as i said, i value sleeping. and so i want sleeps and then so i found ways in order to try and switch off the brain as much as possible. 🎥: eight sleep

I think there's something in this that allows me to like stay in my life while I'm doing it and therefore I think allows me to take care of myself better, which I think makes me better at doing the thing. I have a hard time reading Shakespeare and complex literature, so I like doing that. But sometimes I'll be sitting and talking with someone, and I feel like God tells me something about the person. They're struggling with something or if they've got a physical ailment and I'll ask. And sometimes it's true. Sometimes it's not. I struggle a lot with what people think about me because I've always struggled with people pleasing before being a Christian. And so, you know, if I'm misunderstood or someone takes something in the way that I didn't say it, I get hurt because I'm like, oh, I didn't mean it that way. Or, you know, whatever. So I'm kind of talking to Jesus and I'm in the shower praying and I'm going, man, God, I want to be more like you. I want to be how you want me to be. I want to love you. And I want to be your son. And I just want to focus on being yours. And I don't want to care what other people think. And this, this and that. And Jesus was speaking to me about some practical things I needed to do. Like it would help you if you, you know, stopped looking at what people say online. It would help if you deleted Instagram. And it would help if you did this. Zack Snyder on his dyslexia: "It was a challenge for me when I was, you know, young in school, and all I wanted to do was make movies because that was the thing that I got great pleasure from and reward from. I love books, and I'm an avid reader, but I just have a hard time because of the way that I perceive. "I've had a great sort of - one side of me anyways - was really satisfied by art and drawing and sculpture and sort of visual expression. And I think that that started to, you know, was the thing that kind of made me feel un-frustrated. And also the way the system was designed, sort of not to support me when I was in high school at that time. "It was very difficult, you know, there was a lot of, you know, just, difficulty. My English teacher in high school was worried about what my career would be, and I'm like. He would be happy to know that I'm in the Writers Guild of America now. "But, I think that that all those things are, they're all... you can transcend all those things with perseverance and with interest and with with help. And I think that that's an important part of it. "And I just think I've had to adapt, and sort of... I have my own style of the way I write, I write all, you know, but I'm pretty prolific. And I love- I listen to tons of audio books on tape, unabridged hours and hours and hours. That's all I do when I'm driving in the car or wherever I'm doing. And it's helped me a lot. "And yeah, I mean, I just hope that anyone who is- feels trapped or frustrated by the world in general. You know, they need to just, I think that we all have like a magic spark, and you need to just find the thing that makes you, you know, inspires you and, and gets you excited and pursue it as hard as you can find your passion in the world. “When you then went to hug your mom and dad, it must have been an incredible emotion. It must have leveled up in a big way.” Lando: “Yeah. I mean I think by then I ran out of tears 'cause I did the whole in lap, like crying a bit, took my helmet off. I think I ran out a little bit and then when I hugged my mom, she was the first person I went to was my mom and my dad. I wouldn't be here. It's quite simple. I wouldn't be here without them. I wouldn't get to have - wouldn't have had the chance to live my dream to live an incredible life that I have. I'm such a lucky person. I know I am. And I think that's also why I understand that. I understand what a lucky person I am to have been given that opportunity to get to enjoy my life since such a young age, karting, traveling the world, doing what I do. I get to now say thank you in the biggest way possible. And I also just get to give back and it's so hard to do that. When you're in my position ‘cause you always feel like you're taking and everyone's behind you and you're the star. But I really - I don't like that aspect of it. I only like the fact that I get to come in and see everyone so happy. That's the craziest feeling in the world is knowing you can have such a big impact on everyone. What would you say to someone who you know, there may be a fan who feels that way right now? 🐨: I got out of that crisis I had last year because of the all those environments I had. I got out of it like physically but mentally I just, I'm just admitting it that essential sorrow. I don't know what is what is called but it's always there in it, in some part of my heart. So I think I'm still in the middle of just netting who I am. I'm like maybe too sensitive than the others, maybe the average or I think too much. Sometimes I can't sleep. But do you want to die? No, I try to love the life, the skies, taking walks, good friends, drinks, music, interview. I'm still fighting the demons. And I think maybe it could be forever. And forever is too long, like I said. But I just want to say one thing like simply, in short: I think life is fun. It's not because I'm BTS or I'm a star in the spotlight, I think just life is fun and living is better.
