Brooklyn: Truxton Street & Broadway, a visibly impaired individual caused a disturbance aboard an A train headed toward Far Rockaway, Queens while stopped at Broadway Junction after moving throughout the car and verbally harassing passengers. The person repeatedly went back and forth with riders, escalating tensions inside the train. Eventually, the impaired individual approached a passenger standing near the doors. That passenger instructed him multiple times to sit down and back off. As the impaired person remained in close proximity, the passenger pushed him back, sparking a brief physical exchange. A brief verbal exchange followed before tensions boiled over. The passenger by the door then grabbed the individual by his shirt and forcefully hurled him off the train. The impaired person fell to the platform floor as the doors closed, and the train continued on its route.

In his video, he says Governor Abbott is attacking his family, claims they’re now getting death threats and harassment, and declares he’s “not backing down” and will keep fighting. Some people who posted about the event say his tone felt like a direct threat toward them, especially the woman who first highlighted the “Muslims only” flyer. Of course he frames it as standing up against Islamophobia and political attacks on his family even though he posted a video threatening revenge against Governor Abbot and this woman. “I’m not backing down” and “I’m taking these bigoted, hate-filled politicians down,” was a direct quote from his video.

I have been sitting on this for a minute, I am not sure what is happening here but it certainly looks deliberate. The guy in khaki pants and a blue shirt comes up the stair and feels his pants as you can see in the video, and in the next frames you can see he basically throws a phone out onto the ground by two other people. Was this not deliberate? Why would you not try to pick your phone back up and why did the guy on the ground appear to wave him off? @PBInvestigate LouisianaGirl (Tara) Candace Owens

If Gabe Otegbayo had his debut in December and had the opportunity to learn on loan, and he came through making performances as he has in the last 6 or 7 games, and played like this last night, we'd be waxing. Wednesday have been awful in the last 8 games. We hardly have a shot. We have nothing to keep the opposition off us. He was one of the only reasons we are keeping the score down He was outstanding last night. Man of the match by a country mile.

Today we’re talking Michigan’s state budget crisis that could force me to lay off over 400 people in my department, with many more workers at risk. Man with a warrant speeds away with an officer hanging on for his life on the hood of the car. 👀 This wild bodycam footage from Carroll, Iowa, shows the moment Officer Patrick McCarty jumped onto the hood of a car driven by Dennis Guider Jr. during a traffic stop as the suspect tries to escape. McCarty pulled over Guider for a traffic violation and discovered the outstanding warrant. When ask to step out of car Guider hit the gas and began to drive off. McCarty climbed onto the hood and eventually the roof to avoid being run over. Guider drove for nearly a mile with the officer clinging to the roof at high speeds as other squad cars were in pursuit. Due to a train Guider took a detour that caused the car hit a culvert in a ditch, throwing McCarty off and breaking his back (lumbar spine). Guider tried to escape on foot but was later apprehended and sentenced to 5 years in prison for Serious Injury by Vehicle. Officer McCarty has since recovered from his injuries and returned to duty with the Carroll Police Department.

Today I was checking the CCTV recordings from my room when one particular clip immediately caught my attention At first everything looked completely normal around Gate No 1 of my house A few people were passing by and vehicles were moving as usual Then within seconds the situation suddenly changed According to what I saw a couple living in the building above had allegedly gotten into a heated argument In the middle of the dispute the man reportedly picked up the woman's laptop and threw it off the balcony The laptop came crashing down onto the road below just as a motorcycle rider was passing by Fortunately the rider managed to escape by a matter of inches and avoided what could have been a serious accident Hearing the loud impact the rider immediately stopped and looked around trying to understand what had just happened Moments later the woman rushed downstairs and checked the laptop while people nearby also gathered to see the scene Thankfully no one was injured but the incident could easily have ended very differently The entire moment was captured on CCTV making it one of the most shocking recordings I have seen in a long time

Then an undercover police officer came out of nowhere and said we are causing a breach of peace, and told us to leave. Luckily we know the law, and he very quickly realised he picked on the wrong group of people! Also he was out of his jurisdiction, which is why he was reluctant to show his badge, and lied about stating his name and police station - and refused to do so when asked, which is actually unlawful as he is a public servant. Never back down, and don’t be intimidated by a job title. Police officers often do not understand law, and are easily scared off by anyone with an ounce of knowledge 😂 Our outreach march is taking place on Saturday 15th April, meeting at Marble Arch at 12pm.
