NGOs have been observed assisting individuals crossing the border illegally near the end of the border wall. These organizations supply essentials like food, water, clothing, tents, and even Starlink internet service. The demographic primarily consists of children from Mexico, with some from Guatemala. This location was still active just a few days ago, prob still is. At these locations, some migrants stay at makeshift camps waiting for further transport, while others proceed through the mountains, often going unnoticed. A longer video, which includes drone footage showing cartel members monitoring for opportunities to move goods across the border, is recommended for a comprehensive view of the situation. I drove across the country to the US northern border on a 30 day mission to investigate and get a better understanding of how the US-Canadian border is currently being exploited. It’s the southern border all over again, only much quieter. Since the southern border is more secure many migrants are taking a flight from Mexico in to Canada (as they are both still part of the Global Compact for Migration) walk right in to these American ghost towns now pretty much ran by criminal organizations. It’s so vast and open that it’s impossible to keep track of so many potential gotaways that aren’t being seen or identified, coming in without a trace. I was able to identify potential smuggling houses and routes currently being used. Ghost towns that feel almost abandoned are being used by major criminal organizations.
