CUTTING SYSTEM LOSS CHARGE MAY TAKE UP TO ONE YEAR: DOE Scrapping the system loss charge will take time, says Energy Secretary Sharon Garin. She explained that government and power distributors must first address electricity pilferage and other types of system losses before the charge can be removed.

Electricity is just a separation of positive and negative charge. Generators don't add one Watt to the power line. All they did was rebuild a dipole which we designed to be destroyed faster than it can power the load.
