A pharmacy line turns into a confrontation… and now people are arguing over the proper protocol. A woman walks into a busy pharmacy and moves up front close to the counter instead of waiting in the clearly formed line. Staff politely ask her to step back and wait like everyone else. But that’s when things escalate. Is she just not wanting to follow rules like all the others in line??? Then she argues that discussing prescriptions in front of strangers violates her privacy…. Pharmacy staff insist the line is there for order and fairness, and that everyone must wait their turn. Now the tension grows. Customers in line are watching. The woman feels singled out and exposed. Staff say they’re simply enforcing the same rule for everyone. How should this problem be solved? If a pharmacy requires customers to stand in line, should everyone follow the rule no matter what… or should privacy concerns allow exceptions? Is this simply a case of someone not wanting to follow the same rules everyone else is following?
