I’ve had the Renault 4 since Wednesday and I’ve been trying to think how I can offer something different to what ever other road tests have done? Others are better at letting us know the real world range or how big the back seats are… so I settled on ‘What’s it like off road?’ Bear with me, as I’ve never made a car video with me talking in it before, plus I don’t have a camera man… Hope it’s not too amateur. 💭 I had a fight with my mom - how can I make up with her? 🐿 Well, that depends on the reason, but although it’s not often, when that happens to me sometimes, honestly, just like any son, I tend to get irritated and snap a lot too. And since it’s a time when parents are curious about many things, and since it’s been a long time since we’ve lived apart, they can’t help but be curious even about very small things. 🐿️ To be honest, I didn’t understand that before, but these days I try to understand it. I think I’ve had quite a few conflicts with my parents because of things like that - not anything big, but issues from my side. Since I live my own life, I used to think, “Why are they curious about things like this?” or “Isn’t this obvious?” But from my parents’ perspective, they haven’t lived my life, so they worry and get curious - it’s all the same, even if it seems trivial. 🐿️ For example, I go to the recording studio, or I go to the workspace. Actually, a long time ago I explained this once, but to me, a recording studio and a workspace are different - they’re completely different. But from my parents’ perspective, if they don’t know, recording studio and workspace sound like the same thing. So if I say I’m going to the recording studio, they ask, “Are all the members going together?” And if I say I’m going to the workspace, they ask, “Are all the members going together?” and say things like, “Why are all the members going to the workspace?” Even though it’s different. There are many things like that. 🐿️ So I think that’s why this kind of thing happens. It still happens sometimes now. BAEKHYUN REVERIE DOT ENCORE DAY 3 🐶: Since this is the final concert, I kept hearing people say, ‘Baekhyun is definitely going to cry.’ And honestly… I don’t like seeing Baekhyun cry because it hurts my heart…but at the same time, I kind of wanted to see it. But I don’t know why… the tears just won’t come. Why am I smiling like this? What is this? I really don’t know why. I think it’s just not time for me to cry yet. Maybe it’s not the moment. It feels like I still have a long road ahead, and when everything is more perfectly put together, that’s when I’ll cry properly in front of you. So when that day comes and I cry really hard, please don’t dislike me for it, okay? While being active, a lot of things have happened, but even going through all of that, I realized I wasn’t crying in front of you. I think it’s because I wanted to be a stronger, more reliable support for you. I want you to think, ‘No matter what happens, Baekhyun doesn’t waver. We worry about him, but he’s really strong.’ That’s the kind of thing I like hearing the most. And I’ll continue to be that person. I’ll work even harder and protect you all. So you can cry, you can come into my arms, and I’ll always be here, arms wide open, like a scarecrow… well, maybe not a scarecrow…like a cool mannequin. I’ll always be standing right here. 🐋 When it comes to socializing, I’m someone who tends to please others. It started when I was young. I was socially awkward, so I adjusted myself to fit into different situations. There are people similar to me, but they’re more firm. When they socialize, they don’t adapt as much as I do because they stand stronger in their own beliefs. 🐋 Honestly, in my view, New might be that type. There are pros and cons to this. I tend to go along with others. The advantage is that it helps me blend in easily. The downside is that it ends up affecting me. I have to follow what others want. Sometimes I just go along with things because I don’t want any trouble. 🐋 That’s why New often nags me about it. He’ll ask, “Why are you going? You don’t have to go. Do you even want to go? You’re already tired, why go?” He knows I don’t want to. When New asks if I want to go, I say no. Then he asks, “So why are you going?” And I’ll say it’s because I’m afraid people might judge me. 🐋 New tells me, “Why don’t you put yourself first? If you don’t want to go, you don’t have to force yourself. If you’re not there, it won’t really matter to them.” But I tend to overthink and worry that they’ll be upset. I’ve always been like this. 🐋 But I do understand New’s perspective. It’s just that I’ve been used to doing this since I was young, forcing myself to fit into social situations. At this point, it feels like a habit because I’ve been doing it for so long. 🐋 And now, at this age, I’ve started to prioritize myself more. I’m beginning to follow New’s advice more often. For some events, I’ll just show up briefly, take a photo, and leave, just to let them know I was there. And New would ask, “If you’re just going to do that, then why even go?” 🐋 I sometimes wonder if I should change anything. Jeremy Renner initially turned down the role of James Coughlin in The Town because he “didn’t want to play a bad guy” — but a meeting with Ben Affleck changed his mind. Renner explains… “That was a great character, and I turned it down. I’m like, “I don’t wanna play a bad guy. I don’t get it.” Initially, when I read it, I’m like, “Maybe I should play the FBI guy, the John Hamm role. Maybe it’s that one. I don’t know…” In the beginning of the process. I’m like, “All right, I’ll go in and I’ll read this thing. I don’t know Boston. I’d never been there.” So I sat down with Ben (Affleck) at the table - and I’m like, “All right, let me just do a New York accent because I can’t do a Boston accent. I don’t know that. I don’t wanna screw this up.” So he stood in the thing and he’s like, “Yeah, it’s great, it’s great.” So I started interviewing him. I just kind of turned it on him, I’m like, “So why do you think you can direct and star in this movie? I mean, look, I love Gone Baby Gone and all. But you were just directing that. Now you’re starring in it, and you’re gonna direct it?” And his answer is the reason why I did the movie. He said he didn’t know. He said, “I don’t know how I’m gonna do it. But what I have done is I’ve asked other friends of mine that are directors and have starred in their own films. I’ve found the pitfalls and the things they were going through.” And look, Ben is one of the smartest guys I know and one of the most charming guys I know. That’s very apparent. So I said, “Yes, because you didn’t know the answer, I’ll absolutely follow you.”
