Cyber Troopers Virtual-On's PC version running at full 60fps thanks to vo-patch. It's a really fun Mech fighting game with banger tunes. But I suck at this game, maybe you'll do better. Download here, pre-patched and ready to go (Please check readme!!!):

Please download this fix, it fixes the crashes in the Continue screen and hides the menubar.

Reminder to press ALT and navigate via arrow keys to Debug and then Motion to set it to 1/1 (select 1/1 again if it shows it is selected) to enable 60fps.

I'm hearing from a few users on AMD CPUs that this game does not launch at all. So it might be incompatible with them due to the weird CPU detection code in this port.

Just curious. Why don't people play the PS3 port on RPCS3? It even has online play with lobbies and spectating too: This runs at 60FPS too. But the video had to get compressed due to Twitter.

Well I don't really know what's the preference of the community these days. I've been creating repacks of old Sega PC ports and Virtual-On is one of them. iirc prior to the release of this version, the PC port was quite popular for its network modes played via Hamachi

It's easier to emulate the Model 2 version, it also has better graphics anyway.

Well yeah but I've been going through Sega's old PC ports lately and some of them like Virtual-On and Last Bronx are actually based off the Model 2 version instead of the usual Saturn ports like Daytona. This port was also popular for it's network features back in the day.

Wait, it is now hardcoded 60fps? Can i ask how? I've seen previous attempts to force the VON to run 60fps were messy because it used debug commands.

It is using the debug menu's "motion" setting set to "1/1" I'm guessing this port always supported 60fps but couldn't be enabled due to port related bugs that the vo_patch fixed

There are a couple cheesy AI exploits. Like if you just front dash at the very beginning of a match and do the forward melee with Temjin, you have a pretty good chance of taking off like 50% of an opponent's health right there.
