Cybercab has been running for almost a week, and it amazes me that it’s still such a “secret.” (it’s not a secret) Legacy media knows it exists. They don’t report on the beauty and exquisite engineering. Instead they find other things, as we saw with ABC News the last... show more

No one I know in real life knows about it. If I bring it up they’re clueless lol

You'd think a mass-market robotaxi would be the biggest business story of the year. Oh wait, that would require covering the engineering instead of the drama.

Tesla doesn’t advertise to legacy media “Elon Bad”

Outlets such as The Washington Post, New York Post, and AP covered the launch itself but did not publish first-person ride stories. No comparable hands-on reports turned up from The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN, ABC, NBC, Reuters, or Bloomberg.

they absolutely could have sent people here they had a whole week to do it … oops I forgot it takes time for them to coordinate their script

It’s disgusting. Especially because it’s delaying interest in FSD and purchases of FSD, which saves lives. But they don’t care.

🎯

Well they don’t advertise, don’t invite traditional media to events and it’s only in one city. They need to change above if they want everyone to experience it

So legacy media can’t come to Austin and use it? And it should open up in every city simultaneously?

If they want the media to cover their events then they should invite them to them so they can learn about the product which helps them write about it correctly. More then one would be good but I understand the slow progress

To be clear, love the Tesla brand but they need to do a lot better about education to the public.

TIL legacy media still exists

It is a cheaply made plastic car that can't be used for anything yet. Also it has been launched 3 or 4 times by now, how much more is there to write about this time?

Imo It’s because the fleet is still tiny. Until they roll out the horde en masse in the thousands, it will be overlooked.

Good video!

Saw one in the wild in Vegas the other day, testing. Along with it seemed like a whole bunch of Zooks, while riding in a cab listening to some old guy bitch about unions and how the Bellagio won’t let him pee there. It was literally a sign that the future can’t come soon enough.

Beauty? It's a transportation appliance. Tesla is moving away from aesthetics for obvious reasons. And FWIW, Musk used to value beauty so the transition is significant.

I am surprised no other tv channel are going to ride in

Yup, the RICO media is paid to lie. Sick people!

Thank you!

So true

as long as it doesen'st rain. then they yank it
