I went to Chengdu a few days before Chongqing and had hotpot in both places. Amazing in both places. But Chongqing came in first place.

Chongqing is high on my list of cities to visit. I went to Chengdu this summer and loved the history and how laid back it felt despite being such a large city. Chongqing I know also has a lot of history, but at the same time somehow looks like a Bladerunner fever-dream.

Here's Bomi 'city' in Xizang. It's only about 80,000 people. It's VERY small for a Chinese city, and in a sense a village.
