I can see a case for a left-translated cycle, especially considering how the broader Fed/Treasury policy mix has been evolving. Treasury has increasingly relied on bills as the marginal financing valve while keeping coupon issuance relatively stable and expanding long-end buybacks. At the same time, the Fed has been shifting the composition of its balance sheet toward shorter-duration Treasuries, although for different operational reasons. This mechanic has been evolving since Q4 2023, started with Yellen. And if the Clarity Act gets passes, lets say Q1 27', I can see that as a final trigger to accelerate the rally, something like ETF approvals in 24'.
