Here’s the thing…especially for all these matriculants who been in parliament for many years… Parliament offers very generous bursaries to MPs to study higher education - Diplomas, Degrees, PhDs. There’s no excuse or barrier for them to rely on.

One of the issues that Black ppl have is that they are made to focus on qualifications versus substance of the person. This is why many clever Blacks attacked Zuma for so long & laugh at John Steenhuisen. I don't like Natasha... but I'd prefer ppl track her work & what she's delivered, over qualifications. There are many highly qualified politicians who actually don't offer much value to ordinary citizens. We honestly need to look beyond qualifications. Some of us loved Julius Malema, who was accused of failing woodwork. It wasn't about qualifications but the substance of his work for the ordinary citizen. Be careful not to be captured by academic qualifications, even when it's not necessary.

Is really sad to watch people who 6 voted for by the masses to represent their life struggles going to parliament to ask about the qualifications of other political member's MP. Who said an uneducated person can't give service to their people? Who said degree means you are wiser? The same colonised education is the tool to judge the quality of leadership? Ya neh.

DA a party of matriculants.I remember 1day checking their website as they where recruiting & 1 of their requirements was that a person had to have a degree/high diploma for position, kgante they don't have what they asked of people. No wonder why black graduates leave this thing
