Gen X here… fuck that “dad”. There may be some history that’s not captured here but what is captured here is the son trying to find common ground and his dad being a complete dick. my son and I are obviously different generations and see things differently, but I can’t even imagine speaking to him like this

Dad alienates his son and then wonders why he doesn’t want to come and have a conversation with him.

Maybe if there were more dads like this there wouldn’t be so damn many snowflakes in the latest generation. 🙄🤦‍♀️
