Dad, for the win.

More parents need to step up and teach morals again. Because if they don’t, someone else is going to fill that knowledge gap.

When my daughter was 7 years old, she took some pencils from a display near the checkout counter and slipped them into my bag. I didn’t realize it until we got home. I immediately took her and the pencils back to the store and told the staff to treat the situation seriously. We need more parents willing to hold their children accountable, just like this man did.

My Dad made me do it when I stole gum. My Mom made me do it when I stole batteries. What happened when I got home felt worse on my butt, but the impact of having to walk back in there and confess what I did was what made me stop.

Great dad!! My dad did the same thing to me and my sister. It was a humiliating lesson that stuck with me forever. It was a stupid pack of gum and earrings even though I didn't have pierced ears.

That's a good Dad. I hope his kids learned their lesson.
