So I have currently been playing and streaming the early access for 14 hours STRAIGHT! and I have played a BUNCH of Gorr. Here are some changes that NEED to be done to Gorr before he releases on Friday (Tomorrow) FIRST POINT: Starting off is Gorr's shift (Living abyss) can't grab healthpacks nor can it TP. Abilities similar to Gorr's shift (Living abyss) is Hood's fade, Cloaks fade and Scarlet witches fade. All of those can both grab health packs and TP while they are in their respective forms. If you want to make the argument that it's like a Hela bird, then Gorr when getting knocked while using his Shift, the cooldown shouldn't get used like the Hela bird doesn't. And a big feature that the Hela bird has that Gorr doesn't is that she can B-hop. I personally think its really worth mentioning that part since any extra movement on a Melee character is very much needed as you need to close the gap. SECOND POINT: His Ult literally nerfs him in some scenarios. If you have the upgraded Hela teamup and you use the Scythe by either using his TP (F) or popping the teamup directly, everytime you use your M1 you gain overhealth. Now when you use the ult while having the upgraded Hela teamup and you use something that should proc the scythe (Teleport or teamup) and you hit someone, you don't get that same overhealth that you would without your ultimate. A ultimate being weaker than the basekit in any shape or form is simply bad or overlooked design. I think it should be fixed. THIRD AND FINAL POINT: Similar to the first point, Gorr should NEVER lose his cooldowns on his movement abilities (His teleport and his fade) if he gets knocked while using them. Not STUNNED or SNARED or ROOTED or EARTHBOUND. Simply being KNOCKED both stops his movement AND eats the cooldown. I think this is a big mistake and it should be changed. A dive character being punished this hard on movement that already feels semi-clunky is extremely BAD and should be changed as soon as possible. If she’s offered a raise, should she refuse? Of course, these things sound silly but these are actual options some couples have considered in their homes to preserve the peace. So the once ‘balanced’ household turns upside down because the woman now pulls most of the financial weight. As much as it might be your preference, who earns more in your relationship is not your call. I will repeat this. It is not your call to determine who earns more in this life. Everyone has a race to run. God has blessed everyone with a unique gift. You cannot determine the extent of another person’s potential. If you can't cope with a successful lady you actually have a problem with self-esteem which is not her problem; it’s yours. Single guys, when you court a lady, look beyond her hips, lips and fingertips and determine her inner ‘horsepower’. Can you envision whom she is likely to be if all things work out for her good? Will you be intimidated by her success? There are ladies who are incredibly brilliant, driven and ambitious. You can tell they are loaded from the onset. Such people tend to have a light shine on them and often end up in the public eye doing great things. Your responsibility as a husband is to give her wings to fly. Be a real man, a secure man. Manage your ego and support her. Now if this is difficult for you to stomach, please don’t marry her. In your house, everyone should be a cheerleader urging each one to victory. If you know you've the tendency to be jealous of people’s progress or be competitive, marry wisely. More importantly, deal with this weakness. It’s a bad one & reeks of emotional immaturity. (D) Finally- Attitude. Sometimes the husbands try to be supportive but the attitudes of the wives make it very hard. I have already addressed the men on attitude and the need to build their self-confidence and be supportive of their wives, but now I’ll speak to the wives. To the women: Do you lord the fact that you earn more over your husband? Do you seize the reins and make the big decisions? If you keep cutting down your husband because you earn more money, you pull down your home with your hands. Please don’t get it twisted. The man remains the head of the home. Don’t let money or your position at work get to your head. Pride is unattractive in anyone and that includes you. Cultivate a gentle, quiet and humble spirit. It’s important to note that money or wealth will always amplify who you really are. If you are compassionate and respectful you will continue to be so regardless of the money you make. If you are crass, rude and disloyal, money will make that more apparent and cause problems in the home. Remember that marriage is a partnership. Your success is really “our success”. His support helped you become successful. Even if he has not been supportive still carry your blessing with decorum and don’t disrespect him. Remember the blessing comes from God. A woman that sees God’s perspective when it comes to the marriage institution will not misbehave when blessed. God has chosen to bless your family through you. This is very commendable. This road was one of the reasons I felt really bad about Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu. It is such a critical corridor, yet it was left in a deplorable state for so long. That was one of my major disappointments with his administration. No matter what happened,even with the #EndSARS protests or any other crisis,the government should not have allowed such an important road to deteriorate to that extent. That said, I am happy today that the road is finally being rehabilitated, even though it took about five years. This is exactly what Nigerians want: a good, clean, and well-maintained environment. Nigerians don’t need too much. We are actually very easy to impress. You don’t have to overdo things,just do the basics well, and the average Nigerian will sing your praises to the high heavens. This level of infrastructure maintenance used to be the standard of the APC in Lagos before Governor Jide’s administration. In my opinion, this has been the laziest government Lagos has had. This is not meant to throw shade; it is simply my personal opinion. However, I must commend the administration for being responsive. When they are criticized, they tend to act quickly to fix issues, and that is a good thing. Still, much more is needed. This road must be rehabilitated to the highest possible standard. It should be beautiful and visually pleasing. It is a critical transport corridor, an industrial corridor, and a major transportation route. In fact, it is almost the lifeline of Lagos. It is also a tourist corridor, as about 90% of tourists who come to Lagos pass through this route to reach different destinations. I want to place special emphasis on Ikate. Kunsela Road should be completely demolished and rebuilt with proper drainage systems on both sides, so that rainwater can flow freely. The same applies to the area around Iyare Motors. That section of the road also needs urgent attention. It should be demolished and reconstructed properly to allow effective water flow. Honestly, I would advise this administration to suspend every other thing and focus on environmental management. Lagos already has everything it needs,from its people to its businesses. Every Lagosian is a hustler. They don’t need much; just give them an enabling environment and watch them take this city to the world and back. Lagosians are among the most inspiring Nigerians on earth. That is not news; it is a fact. The government should simply ensure that the environment is clean, roads are in good condition, and transportation works efficiently. Lagos does not need to beg for investors or engage in unnecessary publicity. By maintaining a clean environment and good infrastructure, Lagos will attract many times more investment than it already does. So, kudos to Governor Jide on this effort. I wish him the very best. As I have said before, I will be the first person to publicly acknowledge and post his achievements, as long as he genuinely tackles environmental issues. Once the environment is properly fixed and Lagos becomes clean again before the end of his tenure, I will personally sing the praises of this administration to the high heavens. I am not hiding that. Pray for Cody please. 🙏 After having his fifth stroke on Sunday, he is still in the hospital now and we are preparing him for an invasive heart imaging procedure today, and if needed, we are told he will have heart surgery today depending on what is seen today. But much is unknown without this more sophisticated imagining to identify the anomaly that is seen in his heart echocardiogram. His cardiology team identified a nodule, a moderate leaky heart valve and inflammation of his heart. This issue is linked to his vaccine injury and is more commonly known as non viral endocarditis but in Cody’s case given his aggressive APS blood clotting disorder (that he was left with after his vaccine injury), this issue is better known as Libman Sacks Endocarditis. The heart imaging procedure today should give more clarity to identify each issue more definitely and to be sure of what was seen in the hospital imaging yesterday. If you do not know and to address some questions about Cody’s case, please know we are very well connected and even good friends with many of the brave physicians that help the vaccine injured. Thoughts on “real” training: Unfortunately, military, law enforcement, and civilians still find themselves shooting, quite slowly, different sized dots at 5 yards, nearly always while standing in front of the target before going dry and conducting a comedic / exaggerated / inefficient reload and finishing with a good (albeit rehearsed) scan of their local firing range. Thoughts on “real” training: Unfortunately, military, law enforcement, and civilians still find themselves shooting, quite slowly, different sized dots at 5 yards, nearly always while standing in front of the target before going dry and conducting a comedic / exaggerated / inefficient reload and finishing with a good (albeit rehearsed) scan of their local firing range. Or dumping a mag on a VTAC and admiring their group after a 2 yard walk. Shooting while moving must be conducted mostly while doing CQB with slow pies or it doesn’t translate to combat. Some Thoughts On Ukraine As the Trump administration pauses military aid to Ukraine and western liberals continue their shrieking meltdown over Trump hurting Saint Zelensky’s feelings, it’s probably worth reminding everyone that the Russian invasion of Ukraine was indisputably provoked by western aggressions. That’s why so many western experts and analysts spent years warning ahead of time that western aggressions were going to provoke an invasion of Ukraine. Now, some may hear this and say “Okay but Russia still shouldn’t have invaded even though our western leaders were aggressively provoking them to.” But before you do that it might be a good idea to look inside yourself and ask where that impulse is arising from. Why are you so eager to skip past the part where you criticize your own rulers for their role in starting this war and focus solely on criticizing the leader of an eastern government who has no power over you? What is it inside of you that’s flailing all over the place trying to avoid any forceful scrutiny of the reckless warmongering of your own government and its allies? The last time a foreign rival placed a credible military threat near the border of the United States, the US responded so aggressively that the world almost ended (if you want to know just how close we came to nuclear annihilation during the Cuban Missile Crisis, look up the name Vasili Arkhipov). Western liberals have been conditioned to insist that Russia should have responded differently to the US empire amassing proxy forces on its border than the US would respond to the same kind of threat on its own borders. The frenetic mental contortions needed to justify this ridiculous double standard are only possible because the west is saturated in domestic propaganda manipulating the way they think about the world. It makes sense for there to be criticism of Russia for its role in this war, and for people to be horrified by the nightmare that’s been happening in Ukraine these last few years. If you want the Ukraine war to continue, then go enlist and put your body on the line so that Ukrainians don’t have to. The Ukrainian Foreign Legion is still accepting volunteers. Bring along as many western liberals as you can convince to join your cause. The western empire provoked this war. The western empire sabotaged peace talks in the early weeks after the invasion. After completing his course in Italy, his first major project upon his return was the award-winning documentary Softie, directed by Sam Soko. The film followed my journey as I ran for political office during the 2017 elections, and Nick was the one behind the drone shots. We became friends, and I enjoyed a front-row seat watching as he went on to document important stories. One of my favourites was his powerful 2021 BBC Africa Eye documentary, "Street Dreams." He directed and filmed a group of seven homeless young men in Nairobi who formed the "Street Family Dance Crew." He embedded with them to capture their raw determination to escape poverty, police harassment, and family issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a story that feels like a distant world today; those dancers used to perform outside nightclubs in the CBD, but the city has since become a ghost town. Many bars closed down and replaced by restaurants that shut their doors by 9:00 PM. It’s a story that captured a time in Nairobi that is long gone. In 2024, Nick and I united as he covered the protests. While I participated in the demonstrations, he worked on an unnamed film and we often discussed safety tips. I was a storyteller before I was an activist, so I knew a thing or two about staying safe in the streets while documenting potentially dangerous stories. When Nick was falsely arrested in May 2025, for allegedly producing the BBC documentary, Blood Parliament - two of the three people arrested with him were working with me. I received a call shortly after their arrest and faced the difficult task of calling my colleagues' parents to deliver the news. The arrest was hostile; they were forced to hand over their phones and passwords, and when their equipment was finally returned, it was infected with spyware. What remains hidden from the public eye after an arrest are the cold cells, the degrading police interrogations, the court arraignments, the stares, and the judgment from both friends and strangers. Sometimes even the loss of clients who don’t want to be associated with “enemies of the state.” On a personal level, the trauma of such an arrest can lead to depression, alcoholism, or insomnia. In Nick’s case, his body crumbled, a hidden disease manifested, and before we could truly understand what it was, it stole him from us. His passing is an indictment of our failed healthcare system. Good healthcare is not free. We do not have enough blood in our blood banks and patients must organize their own donors in both public and private hospitals. Furthermore, specialized medical care is so expensive and out of reach that his family and friends were in the middle of fundraising for a life-saving bone marrow transplant in India. I am glad that he was able to produce his latest work, The People Shall, last year. The documentary is a first-hand eyewitness account of the events of June 25th, 2024, when a new republic was born. In his honour, and in honour of the hundreds of thousands suffering due to poor healthcare in this country, may we take our power back. Nick was good people. He had a positive attitude toward life and brought love and laughter into every room he entered. He could lift heavier weights at the gym than people much older and bigger than him. I had the chance to lift weights with him and his co-accused friends; he was so confident that he was the only one lifting bare-chested. That was 'confidence pro-max,' and he beat us in lifting heavier weights and doing more sets. In September 2025, I woke up early to ensure my son was ready to go drone filming with Nick. My son had recently acquired his drone pilot license, and Nick had taken him under his wing as he worked on a new film - a project he was looking forward to finishing. He surprised us all with his early exit on January 7th, but we thank God we had the chance to spend time with him. As we grieve Nick’s death, may his story inspire you to leave that boring job, find your purpose, and live a life that leaves an impact. I am so grateful for Nick’s life. When we went to see him in the hospital, he possessed such positive energy, he was convinced that he would beat this. He was Rambo a "one-man army" and we all believed he could beat it, too. He never looked defeated, or depressed, even as he began to lose weight. When he shaved his head in November, he sent me a photo and asked me to call him "Michael Jordan," after the Chicago Bulls legend whose signature look was a bald head.
