I feel bad for those kids though.. I was an idiot in school.. I'm still an idiot, but I was one back then too. Just didn't want to do schoolwork. Twas my nemesis. I think that if my perspective were to change back then, ...maybe what works for one, doesn't work for another in the same way. We learn differently. It doesn't hurt to consider that we shouldn't standardize the system the way it is.. Oh yeah. Trump just killed the DoE. So now some schools can experiment and adapt, and improve. Fingers crossed.. Nice baldy cut though.. lol

Nah. While there must be discipline and expectations at every household, maybe school is just not for them. Have you tried to identify how they best learn and create an education plan around their skills and capability rather than send them to an assembly line?
