I love this. One of those dads. I have a son who has CP and uses a walker and a wheelchair. Told my son the other day, I know it must be hard not being able to do all the things other kids get to do. You can't just jump up and go. He looked at me and said, maybe for you. You were able to do that. Dad, I have never been able to do that, so I don't miss it. It doesn't bother me. Mom's and Dad's of special needs kid shed a lot of tears for sure. PS. This is also a good look at what our relationship with our heavenly father is like. We are struggling and broken in a sinful way and God wants us to see him and he is there to help. He is almighty, but he still sees our pain. He sent Jesus to give us grace and the Holy Spirit so we can have eternal life with him.
