These reactions don't show that they love the dad more. They show that the relationship is more comfortable with the mom. They've established that the mom always comes right back, and the dad doesn't. So they get more upset when the dad leaves, not knowing when they'll return

This just proves that babies have more secure attachment with Mums and anxious attachment with Dads. Dads need to spend more time with their babies. Fyi, we (adults) behave the same way with the people we love.

They know mom isn’t going far lol

they instinctively understand that it is more dangerous to be alone with mom than alone with dad

This is so true my kids love their Dad and doesn’t work. He literally wakes up early to make breakfast and walk them around, take them to park gym. Plays games music with them. They freaking adore him.

It’s because they know Mom is coming right back and Dads be gone for a long time 😂

For those who say it’s simply because the mother stays home. I’m the stay at home dad, I can tell you that this situation stays like this regardless, it’s simply the biological reality that babies and kids see parents differently and react different.

Its always the moms that dont let go the kids and not otherwise.

@epares92

For toddlers, daddy is fun or a toy to play with, just like a teddy bear. Don't attach too much meaning to him 🤭

They know mum is always there for them

So sweet & real at the same time 🥹 Shows how deeply babies bond with their primary caregiver — usually mom in these early stages. Dads: the more quality time you give, the more that secure "I'm safe with you too" look appears. Both parents win when baby feels loved by both 💙

Could be a reason why women these days hate men, they can't even get attention from their own kids.

The last guy with the beard....is someone gonna tell him?

Bc traditionally mom leaves the baby multiple times through the day but always is around and comes back quick. Dad leaves once and is gone all day, so mom leaving is assumed to return quick, dad leaving is forever.

Daddy must never leave

I saw something similar… but this one is different 👀

@gork need your wholesome comments

I'm so glad there's so many psychologist in the comment section.

The Naruto baby 🥹🤭

must not be SAHMs

Some kids naturally lean to their moms, some kids naturally lean to their dads. That's one more reason why all kids should have both.

Same problem in my house with an almost 5year old.When she hear the door down stairs open very early in the morning she starts shouting Daddy running downstairs from her bedroom 😩

Na see finish cause am…

Okay but who is that adult at the end. 😂😂

Kids know where they belong

Last one is so scripted

ผู้ให้กำเนิด ไม่ประเสริฐเท่าผู้เลี้ยงดู

Mum never leaves me. And when she does, she comes right back. Dad, on the other hand....

Oh my Ex hated that really bugged her. I told her I play differently than she did. I never grew up so play was serious stuff. Looking back I think I made the better housewife. I cooked more than her and I shit you not She was a Home Economics teacher. I don’t like the us versus them we have our role to play this is a phase trust me to a lot of you young ladies. Be silly without trying to be SILLY watch a ton of John Candy movies be that teddy bear he is a perfect example, buggers and farts make believe kingdoms full of fart fairy’s and bugger dragons. I read every night to them. I wanted them to be smarter than their father and just as brave.
