@daddyfreeze According to the Bible, only the Levites were authorized to collect tithes (Numbers 18:21-24, Hebrews 7:5). Interestingly, there's no record of Jesus or His disciples collecting tithes in the New Testament

@daddyfreeze African pastors and politicians are getting richer day by day. The same pastors that are supposed to hold politicians accountable for not providing basic things such as security, hospitals and good roads asking you to pray for such basic things.

The Bible doesn’t mention any instance where Jesus paid tithe. If I’m striving to be like my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, why should I pay tithe? And if I must, why should I give it to my African pastor instead of the Levites? If being a pastor automatically makes them Levites, then what does being a Christian automatically make me?
