Winners Win! This not a rebuke of WSOP - World Series of Poker: the 2025 WSOP was fantastic! Well done Staff, Floor People and Dealers! This is not a rebuke of shaun deeb: he had a great year, and won the POY (Player of the Year) fair-and-square by the rules posted This a rebuke of WSOP POY Formula. Normally, I would have been behind Benny Glaser winning POY: winners win! And he won THREE WSOP Bracelets! But, Michael Mizrachi - The Grinder did even better! He won the two most prestigious WSOP tourneys: The Main Event and the “Poker Players Championship.” Given a vote by the top 100 tourney players in the world, I am certain 90% would have given Grinder POY. The last 10% would have given it to Benny. How then, did Shaun win (Shaun’s close friends tell me that even he is a little embarrassed). Because the formula is flawed! Here are two specific suggestions—simple ones—for improving the formula: - Twice as many points for your second bracelet won - three times as many points for your third bracelet won Folks, it is hard to win!! Does anyone remember who finished 2nd in the Masters (McIllroy won)? Let’s reward those that take home the gold medals, the gold bracelets. So a core issues I see with a lot of crypto games is: No in game peer to peer economy. (ie. The game Devs make all the $$ off the items and you buy from them not other players) Couple of things I wanted to experiment with, in regards to on chain gaming is the peer to peer economy. So the way my team set it up, is you mine the token in game, but you sell the items peer to peer in SOL. (see video for a demo) This gives you two different ways to play to earn, you can farm items, from bosses and loot boxes, and sell them to players for solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 , then other players can buy them and use them to mine the token, and sell the token to traders who will speculate on the price. Or you can just buy the loot boxes, and use the items to farm the token. This should help with the sell pressure, because before the game flow was: Buy item (in token, From devs) --->farm a ton of token---> Sell token to recoup cost of item. New flow is : Player opens loot boxes (paid in token)/ Player Plays game (in game token sinks) ---> gets item ---Lists item--> other player buy Item (From players, In SOL) ----Farms token---> sells token. Now the equation is if the loot box-player spent more game tokens to get the item compared to what he gets for in sol, and it keeps more money in the in game economy, and the market will fluctuate more based on the price of the in game token. So players who play and are "locked in" can make money off arbing and this services the "trader" archetype of player, which I feel is the major player type in web3-games. (also the token name is just a test token so dont buy random shit on pump fun, thats just using the name)

The SAROS story controversy further seperates many sheep and insecure tourists from the actual gamers passionate about gaming and who respect nuanced art. 1. SAROS is a supremely GAMEPLAY focused game, and the gameplay is exceptional. There's actually not a huge amount of story in it. You get sparse sprinkles of story here and there, but it's usually vague, infrequent and takes a complete backseat to the gameplay. So people complaining about its story are missing the forest for the trees about the kind of game this even is. 2. The overwhelming majority of the game the story actually follows the exact cookie cutter bland, 'man has love interest he's trying to save' plot thread that is trite and that so many of the haters wanted. It's not till the very end that you get the twist and curveball that not all was what it seems, and all I can say is thank heavens it did. The twist that Arjun isn't just another brooding, stoic, gruff bad ass good guy hero, and that Nitya isn't just a damsel that needed saving, but was instead escaping him and facing acceptance, loneliness and purpose challenges of her own, is one of the more interesting and thought provoking aspects to the story and to their characterisation. Prior to that, if anything they're both a bit dull and been there done that. After the twist, where you find out he's actually flawed, has a history of debauchery, drunken escapades, guilt, internal conflict, anger management, a darker past and so on, there's layers to unravel and moral conundrums to explore. But I guess that sort of thing takes too much mental maturity for tourists and snowflakes to contend with. 3. As I covered before, anti-hero villain playable male main characters in games aren't actually common. I had to go back 28 AAA single player releases (not including remasters/remakes) to find the last I could remember where you had to play a potential bad guy, which was Alan from Alan Wake II (though there's moral abiguity there) which released back in 2023, so the haters are complaining about something exceedingly rare. 4. Imagine watching a single clip or few of the ending of a show instead of the entire show itself; missing all context, characterisation, build up, insight, developments etc throughout, and thinking that was enough for you to judge the shows story or the entire show lol. No logical or well adjusted person would seek to judge narratives in art in this way, and yet that's what many of these Karens do. We should not be giving value to the opinions of these types of people. ---- Ultimately, haters are showing themselves up yet again, and each time come off seeming more and more like detatched tourists who aren't truly passionate about art or gaming, only having their extremely narrow preferences regurgitated and constantly pandered to. And frankly, they're incredibly boring. #PS5Pro gameplay video. #SAROS #PS5

You can't compare Cyberpunk 2077 launch to GTA 6 and here's exactly why Cyberpunk 2077 was the CDPR's first installment to feature a futuristic city with tons of NPCs and fast moving cars, something which was never done before on Witcher games. The gameplay video from Cyberpunk 2077 shown off in 2019 had a clear text showing "work in progress - does not represent the final look of the game" After the launch disaster of Cyberpunk 2077, Marcin Iwiński also explained that the reason the game had so many bugs is that the game was designed for PC first in mind, then scaled down to consoles that still had a hard drive (PS4 and Xbox One) an extremely difficult task on its own, combined with the fact that the game development progress took a major hit during the pandemic. Rockstar Games on the other hand has a much different engine and experience working on large scale open world game filled with tons of NPCs and fast moving cars, including the fact that they're developing this game for current gen consoles first, then scaling it up for a PC release not vice versa. Are we guys suddenly forgetting the fact that Rockstar Games managed to get GTA V running on a PS3 console which had 256mb of VRAM and 256mb of RAM at that time? The reason Rockstar Games has shown zero gameplay of GTA 6 is because historically they save the gameplay showcase before the game launches, GTA 6 Trailer 2 came out in 2025 and all footage for that Trailer was captured on a base PS5 with a mix of gameplay and cutscenes. They'll obviously show off more gameplay on August 27th, but comparing Cyberpunk 2077 to GTA 6 isn't exactly fair for both companies. On one hand, it was CDPR's first time making that kind of genre of a game and on the other hand, it isn't Rockstar Games first time making a Grand Theft Auto game.

Justin Thomas is playing the Charles Schwab Challenge this week for the first time in 4 years. Ahead of the event, he said he builds his schedule around what best prepares him for the majors and it may change year to year: “Everybody's different. I would say the most, the first and foremost, most important thing that a lot of the top guys, a lot of, anybody that's in the majors, you're going to at least I would think, is what's going to prepare me the best for the major. So like I've had success in majors when I play the week before. “But playing San Antonio the week before the Masters for me doesn't feel like that's getting me prepared as much as possible for the Masters. Therefore, I don't play San Antonio. I had a year where the PGA, when it was at Southern Hills I wanted to play the week before Byron Nelson, it's easy travel, and I played the week before. So it's very situational of when you play, don't play in that regard. “But I mean I really, really, really try with all my might to not do four in a row, four in a row is like I'm not fun to be around. It's very taxing. So I try to cap it at three. “And, yeah, there's a lot of great tournaments, we're very fortunate to have to miss some great events, but you have to at some point. I won my first WSOP bracelet yesterday and a 1,534,645$ prize with it. Funny thing is… after finishing 2nd three times of the World Series of Poker over the years, I had kind of stopped dreaming about it. And then, when I expected it the least, it happened. It’s normal to doubt and feel fear in this game. We play for huge amounts of money, emotions run high, pressure is real. But these last two days, I played almost completely without fear, the way I’ve always felt. This gold bracelet is for my friends outside the poker world first. Then it’s for my community, the people who’ve supported me for years on YouTube and social media. And only after that, it’s for me. There are still other poker world champions every year. But winning this one allows me to finally be at peace with doing only side quests in life. We probably live in a simulation anyway. Might as well have fun with it. Choose your Pokemon !

Would genuinely just give Kolo Muani a run of starts until Solanke is back at the very least. Not only did he show more in 25 minutes against Monaco than Richarlison has in the last 4/5 games but seeing the way Juventus fans speak about him is nuts. I know he did well at Juve but their fans adore him more than you would assume, it's not just this one guy. His goal record was one in two but it's his all round game they mostly applaud him for. And it's not like Juventus are some bum club either. Sure they've fell off & are nowhere near the team they were a decade ago but they're still the biggest club in Italy, and one of the biggest in Europe. And RKM was tearing it apart over there only months ago. It's not even like it was 2 or 3 years ago. There's clearly a player in there, we have to unlock it.

I think what's happened since that is actually proven they've done a good job and the owners love it when oh yeah, you can just say "it's all the second apron." The Boston Celtics are not close to the second apron at all that they to say that that's why they traded Jaylen Brown. I think that’s been a complaint of players and coaches alike for the past several years. We’ve been compared to the NBA of the 80s, in just our physicality. And I do think that hinders the players obviously. You come to watch players play offense and to score. When it’s so physical, the game is not fun to watch and it’s not fun to play.” How did it get so physical? “I mean, we want to win. If the rules allow, we’re gonna kill each other to get there. I just think the rules need to change in that regard so it’s safety for others and a better experience for the fans as well.” Changes to reffing or different rules? “I think it’s both. I think consistency in reffing is the no.1 thing that we ask for every year. I think the game right now is catered to the defensive player, Because you always hear ‘defense wins championships’ and it does but, in my opinion, it should be catered to the offensive player, because that’s why you play basketball.
