I'm 33 and I still need to remember to forgive. I am learning to forgive but not forget. There is one person who it's hard to forgive. They have passed now, but my anger towards them has made it hard. I have to learn that they are gone and can't hurt me anymore.

Forgiveness is one of the biggest teachings of Christianity it's basically against human nature would deem to hate one each other that did massive damage in our lives but forgiven somebody the Christian version of forgiveness is so powerful

While forgiveness is good, as strong men it is our duty to not forget. We must be capable of recognizing the potential dangers others possess, especially if they have demonstrated it first hand. And while one may walk in the grace and light of god, he must not do so as a fool.
