I was at that race. We were standing in the corner Bill Elliott's car is stopped in. When he jumped the guard rail we thought he was going to run us all over. No shit. It scarred my Dad to death. Kyle Petty ended up winning that race after Dale and Darrell tangled.

That Richmond shot of Earnhardt is one of two of my favorite memories. The other is Tim Richmond at Riverside who after crashing, ran across the active track to receive a beer from a fan.
