Dallas’ first-round pick Caleb Downs looks as if he has a chance to make a significant impact on the Cowboys defense. Cc: Ty Schmit 🎧

@tyschmit Dallas Cowboys defense going from 32nd ranked to 31st We’re back

@tyschmit The best safety in college football has the potential to make a difference on an NFL team!?! Omfg that’s unbelievable

@tyschmit Real ground breaking content right here. As if we didn’t talk about this during the draft and after the draft

@tyschmit I think he has to worry about making the roster first, cuts haven’t happened yet

@tyschmit Safety gets treated like draft poison. The hit rate never backed that up, first-round safeties have busted less than corners. With Downs, Dallas got a day-one starter without paying a premium-position tax.

@tyschmit We’re gonna lose by 10 now instead of 20.

@tyschmit buckeye!

@tyschmit Gonna look real good vs a washed Stefon Diggs twice

@tyschmit If the early buzz is real, Dallas just found a cornerstone. Downs is built for the big stage.

@tyschmit @AdamSchefter I'm disappointed in you You need to coach up these new media folks. Kindly remind and/or show your co-host where the damn camera is. He's not broadcasting to you, he's broadcasting to an audience, who he does look at once.

@tyschmit No way I’m shocked a 1st round pick will make an impact. Almost like that’s why they took him first round

@tyschmit That's my cornerback

@tyschmit Look what happens when we draft Ohio St and not Boise State.

@tyschmit @theAGIII 👀

@tyschmit

@tyschmit Wait till the real games start Schefty

@tyschmit Water is wet

@tyschmit I think he has to worry about making the roster first, cuts haven’t happened yet

@tyschmit He will reinforce the defense

@tyschmit

@tyschmit Dallas definitely found an absolute defensive superstar in the draft.

@tyschmit First round talent looks ready to dominate the league early.

@tyschmit Caleb Downs will completely transform the entire Cowboys defensive backfield.

@tyschmit Wow. No shit

@tyschmit He definitely doesn’t look like a rookie

@tyschmit This impressive rookie coverage analysis makes me very excited today.

@tyschmit Absolute MONSTER.

@tyschmit He hasn’t played a down smh

@tyschmit Terry’s son

@tyschmit I think Reese on the giants will have to biggest rookie impact this year on defensive side

@tyschmit K

@tyschmit Exactly what that Cowboys defense needed.
