When they were finally taken out, they weren't trying to flip the boat over. The boat was clearly incapacitated — a tiny portion of it remained capsized, the bow of the boat. They had no communications device, certainly they were unarmed. Any claim that the drugs somehow survived that attack is hard to really square with what we saw. So it was really disturbing. It did not appear that these two survivors were in any position to continue the fight."

Literally everyone complaining about The Odyssey should relax. Yes, Elliott Page was an astroishly bad casting choice, not just because they are trans but because they/them’s acting was horrendous. But they also got shot with arrows and died in the first 5 minutes. 85% of the movie was objectively awesome. Matt Damon was awesome. The battle scenes were awesome. It was visually stunning. Most of the acting was good. There’s no such thing as a perfect movie. But sometimes you can just enjoy the good parts and ignore the things you don’t like.

It had actors like Rakesh Pandey, Yogeeta Bali, etc. And then the story of the movie itself was dull. The fact that the movie makers of this movie lacked finances meant that they did not hire a big name music director. They hired a music director called Shambhu Sen, and he also doubled as the lyricist of the movie. But the music of this movie was unexpectedly nice, but then the failure of the movie came in the way of its songs. The music of “Mrigtrishna” richly deserves to be re discovered and heard and savoured. Song courtsey Upjeet 🇮🇳
