Indeed. I was explaining #UGCRegulations to my 12 year old son for awareness being a GC. His question was who are SC/ST/OBCs. What is GC? Modiji’s draconian acts are leading us to teach about caste to our kids.

In Assam , due to the Ahom Dynasty embracing Hinduism withnout a Ca$te System and us tribes … this caste!sm , sex!sm etc have been in control to a good extent. People with the ca$te system have been settling there since the kamrupa time and the Ahoms kings had settled the Brahm!ns to propagate Hinduism or the Bhuyans to manage the land for example. Growing up as an Ahom , I was aware of the GC lot with mainland origin looking down on us Ahoms ( & the other tribes too ) a little calling us Ahoms ‘ Stubborn’ in a derogatory way meaning a people who do not budge under pressure or threat or talk much even though the Ahom kings were great administrators and the Ahom kings were the reasons why many of them are now generationally settled in Assam. So children know & always knew but yes this now was brought to children in a way where they are made to be acutely aware of this.

Even as an Ahom and with my ancestors having embraced and protecting H!nduism from Mughal !nvasion, I hold a little ‘gr udge’ against the UC. Maybe you all need to acknowledge WHY !

My children are still not aware of their caste. They only know they are Hindu. My son will be going to college in some time. I will have to tell him his caste now and ask him to be careful. Lot of explaining to be done now. I am worried about their safety.

@Dah79013Dahiya Let's stop fuelling it or be a part of Arfa clan to divide Hindus.. You people are doing more damage to unity of Hindus than UGC guidelines which has been stopped by the SC. Suddenly so many UC handles have propped up to divide Hindus. Are they paid or fake handle??
