The fact that she was almost completely blind when she did this makes this beautiful performance even more extraordinary!

If my memory is correct, it came at the top of the 50th show. Whatever, it just set up perfectly what was going to be an astonishing evening of theatre.

Heathrow Airport 50th Anniversary Flypast (1996) On 2 June, ops were suspended for 30 min for this amazing display of half a century of air transport. From the ‘Lancastrian’ (represented by BBMF Lanc) through to the then-new 777, this was a well taken, unrepeatable opportunity.

The most spectacular performance by "Ice Princess" Alysa Liu at the 2026 Winter Olympic Gala. She wasn't competing in the Olympics; she was simply attending a ball on the ice rink, where she reigned supreme. That's what sets Alysa apart from the rest!

.John Heilemann: "There wasn't a word wasted in that speech. I continue to be stunned by a guy who had never performed on the national stage before. Every time you put him in front of a big crowd, whether it's the first introductory speech or this one, he's knocking it out of the park."

I saw Beyonce for the third time on June 26th, 2009 for the I Am Tour at Wachovia Center in Philly. We had floor tickets, row 8. I was a college student at the time, Michael Jackson died the day before and she performed “Can’t Help It” by Michael Jackson and she cried on stage. The quality is what you’d expect from the iPhone 1 lol

Based speech. Yet every white person who says the exact same things half a century later is accused of racism and hate speech. Remember who you are.
