Her clothes were like nothing that had gone before. You could move in them, run in them, jump around in them, and they always looked great. I loved them.

Sad to read this. She influenced me as a teenager in the 60’s. My hair is blown off my face in this but it was a #Sassoon #Quant style. My mini skirt was orange with a black roll neck jumper.

As a girl growing up in the 1960s Mary Quant's fashion was revolutionary It was a complete breakaway from the twin set and pearls of our mothers Although I wasn't old enough to buy or wear her stuff at the time the impact filtered down into my preteen world

I had a Daisy doll with Mary Quant clothes.
