Which one actually stays in the GOAT room? A) The lights avoiding LeBron
B) Michael Jordan taking every camera Lillard said it himself. After the NBA 75 photo, MJ walked into the hallway and more cameras were on him alone than on all 75 of them. LeBron and Magic were in that room. Everyone else looked small. 23 years retired. Active stars lined up. Still one main character. Is “being in the room” enough?

Don't cherry-pick 🫵🫵🫵 The 59.6% figure isn’t a poll. HoopsHype just compiled 112 players who publicly named a GOAT over four years — 57 of them active. They admit the bias themselves: younger players get asked far more often, so the sample leans young, which helps LeBron and hurts Jordan. The actual survey says otherwise. In The Athletic’s 2024 anonymous poll of current players, Jordan still led 45.9% to 42.1%. Among 55 retired players in that same HoopsHype set, Jordan led 52.7% to 27.3%. Fans agree: YouGov had Jordan at 53% to LeBron’s 10%. It’s a generational lean, not evidence of a 60–40 consensus.

In this day and age—with AI evolving the way it is—don't you dare lie to me. And don't ignore the master plan. It’s been 30 years since Michael Jordan retired, yet his approval ratings across all generations have remained consistently stable. But look at LeBron. Despite all that media exposure and propaganda, his growth rate is actually pretty low. It’s just like a stock price; popularity doesn't just keep climbing upward in a straight line forever, you know.

Former NBA player Al Harrington, a forward who played for the Indiana Pacers (IND), New York Knicks (NYK), and other teams from the late 1990s through the 2010s, and who faced both Michael Jordan and LeBron James during his career, explained the real reason why Jordan—not LeBron—is the true GOAT 🔥 But I’m going to tell you the difference between Michael Jordan era and LeBron era. Michael Jordan came up in the era where everybody hated each other. They did not cool with each other. It was no homeboys in the off season. It was no “let’s go to the clubs in the summer and go holler at some chick.” It was none of that. They lived in their own bubbles and when they played it was war. Ask Larry Bird what he think about Michael Jordan, bro. Ask any of these stars about what they think about LeBron. That’s what? That’s a homie. OH, REALLY? YEAH, WHY? MICHAEL JORDAN was probably the most… First off, he was… he was probably the… out of out of professional sports, he was here where everybody else was here. Michael Jordan was revered as a machine. Was he more criticized than LeBron? HE WAS SELFISH. HE DIDN’T TRUST ANYBODY ELSE. SEE, HE STILL WON. EVERYBODY SAID HE COULDN’T DO IT. HE CAME OUT AND HE WON. AND HE DID YEAH, YEAH, YEAH. AND YOU WAS LIKE, “YOU KNOW WHAT? I’M ROLLING with this kid here.” And you saw how hard he wanted it. You saw how hard he was going. And this WAS MAGIC AND BIRD STILL IN THE LEAGUE. YEAH. MAN, come on, man. — Source: (I AM ATHLETE Season 3 Episode 13) All of us NBA fans 100% agree with Al Harrington's opinion.🙏

Richard Jefferson says Magic Johnson is the greatest Laker of all time and one of the three most important players in NBA league history “Magic Johnson is the greatest Laker of all time. He prolonged Kareem's career, which allowed Kareem to reach the heights that he did. Magic Johnson changed the game. What he was able to do, he made the NBA relevant” “I feel like we have a duty as people that love the sport and love talking about it. The league was tape delayed. The NBA Finals were tape delayed in the '80s. Magic Johnson, his name is fucking Magic Johnson. He built this empire with Larry Bird, and then Jordan came after” “As far as importance to the league, he's got to be a top three player, especially during the years the league was actually expanding. You had to have something to market, and he did it beautifully. You go back to what he did as a rookie in the damn NBA Finals, going for fucking 40 and playing center with no Kareem. As a rookie, that's the shit this man was doing” “Obviously, his career was cut short, but there was no doubt. Michael Jordan used to look at Magic and be like, ‘That's the fucking dude.’ Not Isiah, not Larry. MJ used to look at Magic and be like, ‘That's where I need to get to.’ Just how everyone looks at Michael Jordan is how Jordan used to look at Magic. Not as the same player, but as in, ‘That dude got five championships’” “So I think Magic Johnson's the greatest Laker of all time. He only played for the Lakers. Shaq played for other places. Kobe would be the other person. Kareem had another stop”

Greatest PLAYER Ever in the history of NBA!🔥🔥 Dwyane Wade: Jordan is the best for this game, but Kobe is the master. Chris Bosh: I knew Kobe, but I didn't know him. Played basketball against him. He's the best player ever, and he was almost untouchable. Kyrie Irving: When I say [Kobe is] the greatest to play this game, it doesn’t mean I’m knocking anybody else, all right? The greatest to play this game to me! I don’t give a f*** what you talking about. I don’t care about your stats.” Anthony Davis: Kobe and MJ are the two greatest players of all-time. Kevin Durant: Kobe Bryant is the greatest of all time. His skill is second to none. Him and Michael Jordan are neck and neck as far as skill. Dirk Nowitzki: His skill level was unbelievable. There was not one shot he didn’t have in his repertoire. So, to me, in my 20 years, he was probably the best offensive or the best player I’ve seen/faced. Tony Allen: He pushed me past my limits, and I did the same to him. To me, that's what makes him the greatest. Steve Smith NBA: [Kobe] was the most fundamentally sound player that I've seen play. #GregAnthony: Kobe Bryant is the most complete basketball player the game has ever seen. Tony Parker: Maybe the closest to Michael Jordan, who I think is the best ever. #MattBarnes: Jordan is 1, and Kobe is 1B. Jamal Crawford: There's no list I will ever respect if Kobe Bryant isn't top 5. Klay Thompson: He's the greatest in my eyes. He is the reason I play today. Nate Robinson: Kobe, in my opinion, is second to MJ as the most complete player ever. Metta World Peace: There are legends, then there are guys who are in a class of their own. Kobe is in a class of his own. #WaltFrazier: Players see him as the biggest icon in basketball, and he deserves it. Mike knows that. Isaiah Thomas: I'm still a Kobe guy when it comes to the GOAT conversation. #KenyonMartin: [In] my 15 years of playing basketball, Kobe Bryant was the best basketball player in the National Basketball Association." Dwight Howard: "Everything Michael Jordan did, Kobe did better." Kevin Durant: "Kobe is the Greatest of all time. His skill is second to none. Him and Michael Jordan are 1A, 1B as far as skill." Shannon Brown: "Kobe is the best of all time. He comes first before Jordan." Brandon Jennings: "Jordan never win a championship without Pippen. Kobe won 2 without all time great teammates. Kobe is the GOAT."

Former NBA player Kwame Brown—who was teammates with both Michael Jordan (during his Wizards days) and Kobe Bryant (during his Lakers days)—spoke the hard truth. 🔥 ''Y’all need to stop calling this man the goat. I hate to say it, and this is no disrespect, but because I played with the two goats, if they not my [friend], if I was to say LeBron the goat and MJ ain’t [nothing] based on all the stories y’all say that MJ slapped me in the back of the head and treated me like [shit] and all this and all that, I should be the first person saying MJ is not the goat. The way I think MJ would have jumped off a bridge if he would have lost 11 games to somebody. Kobe would have beat up his teammates if he would have lost three games, five games to somebody. Like it it’s just a different animal. It’s a different level. And I would be wrong. I would be a flat-out liar to be around and share the locker room with those two men and then to see LeBron and say that he’s that. He’s not that. I don’t care about the accolades. He is not on the same level as Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. End of discussion. And I think this is what sets MJ and Kobe aside from LeBron. But I thought they said that this man was the king. And we all know the saying, “Heavy is the head that wears the crown.” Not heavy is the head is the [guy] who played with outside the [guy] who wear the crown. No, heavy is the head who wears the crown. That means the burden and the blame goes on the [guy] that’s running around here calling himself king.'' ~Via (Kwame Brown) All of us NBA fans agree 100% with his opinion.👏💯

March 8, 1998. The final time Michael Jordan walked into Madison Square Garden as a member of the Chicago Bulls. And like so many nights before in New York, he turned the world’s most famous arena into his personal stage. The Bulls were in the middle of their final championship run, the season that would later be immortalized as The Last Dance. Chicago entered the game with the best record in the Eastern Conference, while the rival New York Knicks were still one of the league’s toughest defensive teams. It was a nationally televised Sunday matchup, the kind of stage Jordan had dominated for more than a decade. But Jordan decided to make the night even more symbolic. Instead of wearing the modern sneakers of 1998, he laced up the original red-and-black Air Jordan 1 from his 1984 rookie season, essentially stepping onto the floor in a pair of basketball shoes that were already over a decade old. Fadeaways. Turnarounds. Impossible shots from every angle. At one point he even spun through the lane for a 360-degree slam, reminding everyone that age 35 meant nothing to him. By the end of the night, Jordan had poured in 42 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and led Chicago to a 102–89 victory over the Knicks. The performance came at a cost. The vintage sneakers were too small after all those years. By halftime, Jordan’s feet were bleeding, but he refused to take them off because he was playing too well. As the game ended, the New York crowd that had spent years battling him stood up and applauded. Even Knicks fans understood they had just watched the final chapter of one of basketball’s greatest rivalries. And fittingly, the greatest player ever walked out the same way he arrived: wearing the shoes that started it all.
