There is no need for the hate. We can agree to disagree. Respectfully. Hate is what Trump and his ilk want. There are various schools of thought when it comes to dealing with someone as broken and hateful as Trump. When you react with anger, he has you. He uses your anger to galvanize his base...uses it to justify their crusade against the rest of America. He is strongest when he is stoking hate and division. There are those who believe, myself included, that he should be mocked for his unhinged falsehoods and incendiary rhetoric. Called out for the sad joke that he is. Nothing bugs him more than when people dismiss him as weird and an unserious person. Hopefully more will tire of his lunacy and distance themselves. He has a core group that feed on his grievance...the proud boys and Loomer types...they need the constant specter of hate to justify their existence. When no one is taking their leader seriously, it dulls their anger. At the end of the day, we all want the same thing. To turn the page on this dark chapter in our history and look forward to brighter days.
