I'll never forget that Constance the badger created a FUCKING BALISTA for the soul purpose to murk Cluny, the Redwall residence poured BOILING HOT WATER DOWN A SAPPER TUNNLE THAT WAS BEING USED, and fucking Asmodeus and his whole thing.

Well, the book had Constance the female badger try to take a shot at Cluny the Rat but turned out to be his minion wearing his gear. Constance's crossbow happened to be ballista, which the minion was turned into paste.

And dont forget this in S3.

Yes, it is. It's a children's book, but Matthias - basically a kid if I remember - witnesses a murder from the foliage.

Great series, the second season wasn't bad but sadly not as good as the first one. I still wished they had produced more.

The books go between "we're just a bunch of jolly woodland critters, singing songs and eating delicious food" and scenes of brutal, graphic violence.

So that rabbit guy just suggested that they cover her up to her neck in red ants, then hang her, then draw in quarter her which includes disemboweling her and then cutting her body into four sections and hanging them up at the edge of town to warn other people.

One of the old advantages of being on Public Television. Well that and when these episodes premiered on PBS they had the Author bookend the segments talking about the lore or the inspiration behind it. He was like a grandpa happy to tell stories again.

I was so surprised to learn the books got a show adaptation, it was played on PBS.

So they let her out of the palace and get killed by the rat army offscreen. Damn.
