He’s right. The Republican Party was started in Illinois to end slavery. The democrats started the civil war in 1861 because Lincoln was elected president. They thought, I don’t get my way, I’ll burn it to the ground. They almost succeeded. Then after they were beaten by the Union, the started the KKK to fight back and the Jim Crow laws to keep the black people down. It took hours of filibuster in the Senate to pass the Civil Rights Act. Every single democrat voted against it. Why this isn’t taught anymore i don’t know. They don’t want to be at fault for a civil war again. But Jamie Raskin said they were going to revive the 14th amendment, said in a public venue that the Congress will not certify the election or was going to not allow President Trump to take office even if he’s elected.
