BREAKING: US Appeals Court has blocked a lower court's order blocking DHS from using certain techniques like tear gas. The appeals court said that the lower court "overstepped their authority". All they have been doing is overstepping their authority. Where are the consequences? When a President does this, they can get impeached. I'm so sick of these courts slowing down President Trump's lawful agenda. House Republicans Senate Republicans do your damn job and impeach these rogue district judges. This solely falls in the hands of congress so what are you waiting for?!?!

We also knew their attendance likely wasn’t going to be as strong as ours. Summer Lee—who’s fantastic—made the motion.. and they were stunned. They were essentially forced to take that vote right then. And three of them broke with the remaining Republicans and joined the five Democrats—so we got that subpoena of the Epstein files.

Obama: I am worried about how willing Republicans in congress have been to surrender their role as members of a coequal branch of government, refusing to block the president, even when they know he is out of line. Even when a lot of them will privately admit that power is being abused in ways that will hurt their constituents and hurt the country. I worry about a supreme court that so far has shown no willingness to check the administration's excesses, even when those actions break legal precedent and seem to defy the bedrock principle that no one is above the law.

Republicans have fought for partisan gerrymanders across the United States of America. And these are the rules that they have set. And so if the Republican Party wanted to start this, they did this in North Carolina. They drew out three Democratic members of Congress in North Carolina. They did it in Texas. What they’re just mad at is that they have been accustomed to a Democratic Party that rolls over, doesn’t fight, and takes everything sitting down. And what they’re mad at right now is that we are here in a new day. And we have been asking the Democratic Party to stand up and fight, and now they did—and now the Republican Party doesn’t like the fact that they are fighting against someone who actually will stand up for the American people. So if Republicans decide that they would like to revisit a ban on partisan gerrymandering, I welcome them. We have the bill right here to end this all today. But they don’t want to, because they like pursuing and continuing to enact an unfair electoral landscape. And so we have an obligation to defend ourselves.
