I think he was rightfully heated since the media and fans made a big deal over nothing if Dante is getting IVs. Could probably have been prevented if they'd hydrated better before and during the game.

@EricJHovland He’s defending his player after a terribly worded question by @Erik_Skopil. It’s a fair question, but there is a professional way to ask it without attacking a players character. Dan was right to be irritated. You don’t drive a question with an assumption.

I don’t know how many people I told from Oregon that the heat they were going to face was going to be unlike anything they ever have. There was no real way to prepare. Lanning more than likely did the best he could do. With all the money maybe they could of gotten IV’s pregame?
