@joerogan I think you miss the entire point of what Dan is doing. He’s viewing the Bible for what it actually is, a collection of religious texts. Seperate what is dogma vs what the actual teachings are in the context of which they were taught.

Imagine someone from Sodom and Ghomora teaching others about Who God is, Who Jesus Christ is, and having a podcast declaring himself a Theologian, for about a year before the fire and brimestone fell. That is Dan. He just wants to help others adjust their seats on the Titanic. Joe would be wise to not be on the same boat as Dan. Dan McClellan is the most disingenuous Bible expert I've ever seen. I have yet to see a video where he doesn't just deceive people or at the very least insert the secular interpretation as factual and authoritative (despite there being no majority on it, academically). Guy's hellbound.

@joerogan First of all he didn’t mention which version he’s using which is a huge point. Second of all, anyone who believes in a god who says he will eternally damn you if you don’t believe in their specific prophet / worship should be pretty suspect. Deism > Christianity.
