Agree. Why was wasn’t he in shotgun though / quick passes? That situation called for 3 quick passes or throw aways and saving time for a 4th down FG if needed. Not letting routes develop.

He had the ball to start the 3rd quarter. The way the offense was moving you gotta kick it, give Stevens more juice for making the kick into the half, then redo the drive again in the second half and try to score a TD there to take the lead. No accountability. It was absolutely not the right call regardless of the injury. You don't gamble with momentum. You had all the momentum going into half with 3 there. Taking a gamble to go for 7 and come away with 0 completely shifts the momentum to the other team at the half.

I don’t have a problem with the call to go for it. It’s so easy to criticize the play after the fact. If JD hadn’t gotten injured on a fluke play and we scored a TD - DQ would be praised for his ballsy coaching. It’s an unfortunate sequence of events. The team seems snake bitten.
