Dance of the bowerbird 🐦💃

Bowerbirds are primarily found in the Australo-Papuan region, with ten species endemic to New Guinea, eight to Australia, and two in both, inhabiting diverse ecosystems. They vary in size from the golden bowerbird at 22 cm (8.7 in) and 70 g (2.5 oz) to the great bowerbird at 40 cm (16 in) and 230 g (8.1 oz). Their lifespan typically ranges from 5 to 10 years in the wild, though some species, like the satin bowerbird, can live up to 20–30 years under optimal conditions, depending on factors like predation and habitat quality.
