Julius Randle on how the turmoil in Minnesota and Minneapolis has affected him “Regardless of politics, there’s a human aspect to it, for me I have kids, I have family, for me the job as a man is to be the protector of the house. You see things like that and obviously, it’s tough, it’s hard to stomach things like that… regardless of whatever’s going on, when somebody lose their life, you never want to see that. From the minute I’ve been here, Minneapolis has been great for me, fans and community have been really behind me. ‘I speak as an Irish citizen—born and raised here in Dublin—and as a Jew from a small, long-established Irish Jewish community, that arrived here in the early 1600s. And that community is now increasingly fearful… One of my best friends…a long-time respected member of the Jewish community whose grandfather was the only citizen murdered in the 1916 rising said to me only two days ago: “I always thought of myself as an Irishman, who happened to be Jewish. Now I know I am just a Jew, living in Ireland.” Many of us think like that.’ This is what was censored from the clip that one of Ireland’s governing parties shared online. Indeed, this what our political and media establishments have been censoring since October 7th and even before then. I’m going to be honest-the level of hate that the Jewish community face everyday is absolutely disgusting. I’ve had to literally distance myself from people I used to hang out with. They have so much hate and jealousy. The Jewish community should stop giving. Don’t support a party that doesn’t protect your community.

Today a bunch of strange foreign Arab men decided to go to a suburb of Sydney with a large Jewish population and taunt them. Jewish people have been part of the Australian nation since the First Fleet, whereas random foreign Arab guys only arrived in the past few decades to a country that had already been built. So why are these guys so arrogant, strutting around the country and attacking people who have been here for 200 years? These guys aren’t even Australian, they don’t even like the country, so why are they even here?
