Daniel Jones issues statement!

Daniel Jones has been put thru the freaking ringer.... not just this past week but for years. No, I'm not shedding a tear & please don't flood me with the millions he's earned or the play on the field, we are all very knowledgeable about those points. His criticism is earned with his play & he has been handsomely overpaid. He's such an easy target, especially playing the hardest position in all of sports. He handles everything with such class and dignity....reminds me of the way Eli carried himself, which is why it was easy to compare them off the field. I wish him nothing but success wherever he goes. #onceagiantalwaysagiant

Man this is hard to watch. I’ve never seen a more dedicated player who makes no excuses. I just wish he could have balled out like we all hoped.

Class act and a good dude! I feel for him even though he didn’t get us where we needed but I’m going to tell you it’s definitely not ALL his fault. 52 other dudes on the roster and it’s crazy to blame just 1. It’s hard to find good dudes like this in the NFL. I have been a fan far too long to know it’s not just his fault. But I get it and if the Giants are ready to move on so am I even if I don’t agree with it. I think he will do well surrounded by better leadership wherever that may be. Here’s to the future. Go Giants!

Good man but Giants have to resolve this issue before it becomes a bigger distraction. Also feel bad that Dimes is taking all the heat and not Daboll/Schoenn.
