Your standards will be sky-high once you watch j-hope freestyle live, that’s why he’s called the Ace, that’s why the stage is his playground. He feeds off the crowd’s energy, then gives it back a thousandfold! HE IS INSANE ON STAGE 😫 whether he’s spitting his bars or grooving while someone else sings. What amazes me is that he’s got the exact right concoction: he knows how much energy to give while pacing himself so he never runs out of breath. He lets himself get lost in the music and lets his body speak when he dances ( every move is intentional btw) yet he knows exactly when to hold back and become a team player the moment it’s time for choreographed moves. That kind of elite skill, I don’t think you can teach it. That’s just who j-hope is! #jhopeDance

In this week’s Science Committee Democrats hearing, I asked the Under Secretary of Science why the President’s budget request for solar and wind technology was zeroed out. He talked about advancing the fundamentals of basic science, but when I asked whether he disagreed with Secretary Wright’s claim that wind and solar infrastructure is worthless when it’s dark outside or the wind isn’t blowing, he couldn’t answer. This administration is a walking paradox.

When you pray one Hail Mary, you are repeating the very words spoken by the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary at the moment the Incarnation began (Luke 1:28). Heaven first heard those words when Christ entered the world through Mary’s yes. The Book of Revelation says the prayers of the faithful rise before God like incense before His throne (Revelation 5:8). Even the weakest prayer said with sincerity is noticed in Heaven. St. Louis de Montfort taught that every Hail Mary gives joy to the angels and honor to the Blessed Virgin Mary. He wrote that the angels join themselves to those who pray the Rosary faithfully. St. Padre Pio constantly carried the Rosary and called it “the weapon for these times.” People close to him said he prayed dozens of Rosaries daily because he believed immense graces flowed through every Hail Mary. Exorcist priest Fr. Chad Ripperger has spoken many times about the power of the Hail Mary and the unique fear demons have toward the humility and intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Many Catholic devotional writings about Purgatory also express the idea that souls would value even one devoutly prayed Hail Mary beyond anything earthly, because earthly life is the time when we can still freely pray, repent, love, and grow in grace before God.
