Former paratrooper Matt Styler, 50, has been found not guilty of assaulting the police by Judge William Mousley KC at Southampton Crown Court. Ex-soldier Matt was violently attacked and arrested by officers from Hampshire Constabulary at a Henry Nowak protest on the 2nd of June for no clear reason. Matt was then held in custody for 15 days before being bailed. In court the CPS stated that the the evidential test had not been met in the case, and the prosecution was therefore offering no evidence against the defendant, leading to a not guilty verdict. We wish Matt all the best and hope he sues Hampshire Constabulary for everything.

It is hard to know what to believe, but if true, this juror broke their oath over the last 2 months, and despite the facts that show Karen Read is Guilty, it seems the process was rigged early on. My worst fear was stealth jurors in this case. I have always contended that the jury should have been picked from Boston, not from Norfolk County where FKR ran amock. It was always the defense team's plan to taint the jury pool. #KarenRead #verdictwatch

🚨 BREAKING: Grooming gang guilty of RAPING and abusing GIRLS in ROCHDALE Seven men have been found guilty of sexually exploiting two teenage girls who were repeatedly raped and assaulted in Rochdale for five years. The gang was convicted at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court of various sexual offences against the girls between 2001 and 2006. The victims were groomed from the age of 13 and treated as "sex slaves", being expected to "have sex with the men whenever and wherever they wanted", the trial heard. Jurors deliberated for three weeks before delivering their unanimous guilty verdicts. The court heard that both girls had "deeply troubled home lives" and were plied with drugs, alcohol and cigarettes and given places to stay. Three of the abusers, Mohammed Zahid, 64, Mushtaq Ahmed, 67, and Kasir Bashir, 50, were stallholders on the town's indoor market. Father-of-three Zahid, who was known as Boss Man, gave free underwear from his lingerie stall to both complainants. He also gifted them with money, alcohol and food in return for the expectation of regular sex with him and his friends, the court heard. In 2016, Zahid was jailed for five years in an earlier grooming gang case after he engaged in sexual activity in 2006 with a 15-year-old girl who he met when she visited his stall to buy tights for school. Deepak Singh, 24, pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of attempting to cheat. The court found that even though the Rolex GMT Saru timepiece was authentic, Singh’s clear intention to deceive was sufficient to constitute a crime, CNA reported. The bizarre case concluded with Singh being jailed for trying to pull off a scam that, due to facts unknown to him, could never have succeeded. The court heard that Singh’s ordeal began in early 2025 when he bought the Rolex from an acquaintance for €55,000 euros (RM255,000) and a Cartier bracelet.
